The more weight you lose before surgery the better your results will be. Most of the skin and stretch marks from your pubic area to you belly button will be removed with a tummy tuck. Your surgeon will be able to better answer the question since you have already had a complete examination.
I have extensive stretchmarks and am considering a tummy tuck in the near future. What can I expect after the procedure as far as reduction of my stretch marks? I also have a lot of extra skin and want my stomach tighter. Is this a good procedure for me to get the results I want? I also want to lose about 25 lbs before the procedure and have been working out but cant seem to get it to improve any more.
Based on your photos, you appear to be a great candidate for a tummy tuck. Your stretch marks from your belly button down to your pubic area will be removed. The small amount of stretch marks just above your belly button will still be with you, however, they will be much lower after the surgery- close to your pubic area. I'm not sure you need to lose 25 pounds, but I would consult with a board certified plastic surgeon in person.

I am a 31 mother of two boys both delivered via c-section. I definitely am going to get a breast augmentation (not sure of saline or silicone). As far as my stomach, is there any other procedures besides a full tummy tuck that may be able to provide better results than the current state that it is in… ie, smart lipo, liposuction? I don’t want the tummy tuck scar. Thank you in advance for your replies.
Based on your photo, it appears you have some loose skin as well as a weakness of the abdominal wall. These issues will be addressed nicely by a tummy tuck which will remove the excess skin of the lower abdominal wall as well as tighten the abdominal muscles. The only role for liposuction would be to treat your flanks or love handle area. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for more information and for a complete evaluation.
