Thermage was done on my face by an assistant, without Dr. Park’s presence or involvement. The results were terrible: burned skin, increase in wrinkles, and lumpy areas. They told me to wait, but after 5 weeks, there is no improvement. I will have to have the damage repaired by a competent physician. more
I wanted skin tightening on my neck and face. I found this Dr. Do on Thermage.com. He "travels" from Beauty Spa to Beauty Spa and does not have an office. Larisa Beauty Spa owners told me that it would only take ONE treatment and would last 1 - 2 years. I took before and after pictures---nothing has changed. They did take my $1500.00. I emailed both the doctor and the salon with no... more
I don't feel pain as a rule. Natural child birth is more painful than Thermage. For one month I looked great, then I woke up and there was a triangular shaped divot in the middle of my cheek. My doctor allowed the nurse to do it, even though he said he would. When I went back to complain he said,"Oh, you had acne, that's what you are seeing." I had poreless skin that months... more
I just turned 40 and started seeing some skin sagging on my face.i was reading all the reviews and contemplating weather to go for this procedure or not. I did my research to find a good doctor. I went to every possible med spa and clinics to find out about this procedure. Finally yesterday I had my procedure done.Every person has different skin type and will have different result with this... more
After reading all these posts, I was fearful to get Thermage. However, like many people I was talked into it by my Doctor since "the tips have significantly improved".Would I do it again? Yes, BUT, I would have listened to my gut and not done my entire face. I wanted it for an eyebrow lift and I got a nice eyebrow lift. I also got a bit of tightening on the jaw line. I would... more
I am a 39 year old who has thin facial skin and I wanted to try Thermage for minor facial sagging. I'm not sure if it was me (maybe I wasn't an ideal candidate?) or the procedure, but it has been 8 months since I had thermage on my face-and to be honest, I haven't noticed any difference...and to me, the procedure was extremely painful. Almost intolerably so (if they offer you painkillers,... more
I received thermage on my face and neck by a highly accredited doctor in Los Angeles. He put me completely under for the procedure. The inital effect was a little tigher skin, but after a few days that wore off and I kept waiting for improvement over time as I was told the full effect would show in 3-6 months, however there was no improvement at all and if there was was it was to small to... more
Thermage gets a bad rap online at message boards. I know this because I was firmly against the idea of getting Thermage based on my online research. But my dermatologist was convincing and encouraged me that I would get good results since I only needed some measure of tightening, not a "** virtual facelift ** like you see advertised by bad docs. The treatments did hurt more... more
