What Are the Step by Step Surgical Procedures for a Brazilian Butt Lift?
I have not found much information on the actual surgical procedure.
A: how is a Brazilian buttock lift performedA Brazilian buttock lift is also known as a fat transfer to the buttock. The procedure involves removing fat from unwanted areas by way of liposuction and transferring or injecting the fat into the desired areas. Although the procedure does increase the size or volume of the buttock, it also is very powerful at reshaping the entire lower back, waist and hip area as well. The surgery is typically done under general anesthesia and takes 2-3 hours. Patients need to avoid direct sitting on the buttock area for about two weeks after surgery in order to preserve as much of the transferred fat as possible. A good candidate must be in good health and have sufficient fat in order to have a successful outcome. You can review some videos I have on this topic if you visit my website and look under the Procedures section of Buttock.
Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with this type of surgery before undergoing this procedure.
Best wishes,
Dr.Bruno

A: Breast Implant SizingHello Bellachico,
I am sorry you want to be a D cup. Some surgeon is going to make that happen for you, probably with serious consequences. Get a tape measure and measure the distance from your nipple to the bottom of your breast while gently stretching the breast upward. You will need 9.5cm for a 400 cc implant. I think yours falls far short of that, right? And you want a 450 or 500? So where is the doctor going to get the extra skin from? Your chest wall! In a best case scenario, you will have severe rippling, even with silicone gel implants. Worst case you'll have symmastia, malpostion, and double bubble.
Please reconsider and look at breast augmentation not as a process where you pick the cup size of your choice, but more as an enhancement to your breasts that a reputable surgeon deems appropriate for you anatomy. You will probably save yourself much heartache, money and regret.
Best of luck!
Is 400ccs Going to Look too Big? I Am Starting With No Breast Tissue.
Im 22yrs old ive had 5 kids and im having surgery in 1 month and i dont have any breast tissue at all will 400ccs look ok on me i weigh 100pds even and i dont want to look to big
A: Breast Implant SizeHello Baby02,
How you look in terms of proportion is a very subjective thing, that is to say its only an opinion. Ours might differ from yours. Opinion is something we surgeons should be avoiding, and instead offering advice based on evidence based medicine.
You should not worry if an implant is going to look too big or small on you. You should go to a reputable surgeon who will tell you what implant will be most appropriate for your body base on objective measurements of your breast and chest wall. This has nothing to do with 'proportion', or other irrelevant measurements like your height, weight, or the size of your thighs and buttocks. More than likely, this will achieve a pretty result that will always be 'proportionate' to your body, but most importantly, will decrease the risk of complications that lead to unexpected early reoperation.
Best of luck!
