Hello, I would like to know if there is a possibility of blindness if I would decide to let MD treat area close to inner corners of my eyes with Restylane - red stars at picture If so, whats the probability of this event occur? Are there any crucial blood vessels in that area? Is the probability higher then probability of blindness while undergoing tear trough treatment with Restylane? I would really love to look more rested..but I guess Its right to not to be sure if I would risk my sight
While blindness is a very slight possibility, it is not zero. Looking at your photo, your upper eyelid skin may be the culprit limiting a rested appearance. Remember alternative treatment modalities may be operative. Explore some other options.
I had two syringes of Restylane four days ago, why do I see no results? The injecter suggested that I have one syringe in the upper check area on both sides hoping to lift up and out because I have lost weight in my face. I shared that I wanted my checks to look fuller and I was concerned about the lines on both side of my mouth. I could hear and feel the injection into my upper check bone. I was bruised from the inside but with ice no sign of any bruising on the outside. What do I do?
Aging, and volume loss in the face, is a dynamic process and begins to occur around age 30. If you have lost weight, you may have experienced even more volume loss in the face. A syringe of Restylane only contains about 1/5 of a tablespoon of product. You can imagine that this would make very little difference in someone that requires more volume augmentation. It sounds like you needed more product, or consideration of other volume producing procedures such as Sculptra or fat transfer.
I have 1.0 cc syringe of perlane for non-surgical nose job last week. We also plan to try to get pregnant again. I am not pregnant right now. But how long should I wait to be on the safe side? I had Juvederm ultra plus done on me about 10 months ago for the same purpose and it lasted around 6-9 months. I'm not sure if perlane would have the same longevity. Please advise. Thank you very much
Although the use of Juvederm is not FDA-approved during pregnancy, you should be able to become pregnant following Juvederm placement without concern for endangering the fetus or the course of your pregnancy.
