1)What is the best method/technique of fat harvesting in which the cells survival is the most? 2)Is the injecting technique/method as important as the fat harvesting part? If yes, tell me about the best injecting technique/method also. Thanks, Best Regards
There is a lot of hype in this market due to the fact that there are a lot of competing systems out there being pitched to doctors. To my knowledge, none have been scientifically proven more successful than the others. The basics apply to any technique: low pressure fat harvest, treat the fat gently, inject with micro-cannulas in a careful, well-dispersed fashion. Ask to see before/after photos, or speak to a patient who has had the procedure to gage your surgeon's success with this procedure.
Doctors say they extract stem cells from some of the unused fat, and then add that to the fat to be injected, multiplying the stem cell density. Seems like it would be hard to have enough extra fat to do this for large areas but maybe for the face? Does this stem cell extraction/concentration work? Is there another technique besides a centrifuge?
Stem cells are likely to be the future of much of medicine. However, we still don't understand the technology enough to make it useful. Anyone advertising a "stem cell" anything is not being honest with the public. Some studies are coming out showing that stem cells are enhancing fat grafting survival, but the proper combination of stem cells vs fat has yet to be established. Also, there are potential complications associated with the use of stem cells and it is wise to wait until this has been proven safe before proceeding.

My forehead looks somewhat similar to the forehead of this celebrity, except that there is more of a bulge where my eyebrows are, especially on the outer corners of the orbital rims. Also, in flash photos I appear have a slight bulge above my brows, almost like a man's brow ridge. I realize it's not the end of the world but would fat grafting be a good option? I really dislike my forehead! It looks thick, awkward and androgynous. Thank you for your time.
Yes, fat grafting is an option in this case, especially if you have signs of volume loss under the skin.
