I had Radiesse done by a nurse practitioner several times at a different facility with mixed results. The last time was in June and the results were less than acceptable. There was too much filler placed at the bottom portion of my cheeks rather than near the top of the cheekbone, which overall defeated the purpose of getting the lifting effect I was looking for. I mentioned that I thought... more
I am 58 years old and have lost volume in my face causing me to look older than I think I should. I went to Synergy Advanced Medical Aesthetics for advice on what to do to achieve a more youthful appearance. I ended up having, among other things, Radiesse injections in my cheeks to replace the volume and I am thrilled with the look. They applied some topical numbing cream and it really didn't... more
1.5cc of Radiesse per mid-face cheeks. I saw youtube videos of surgeons and online wesbites indicating the filler to be injected superficially and fanned at angles, thus I expected my surgeon to do such. I also take arnica caps and cream, and tylenol for discomfort. My doctor... more

Looks like the radiesse is migrating to other areas along the jaw line. However, I must admit, I do look youn more
It hurt to get injections - both the numbers and the Radiesse itself - but it was no worse than when you have to get a lot of shots at the dentist. It helped to have a concerned and empathetic doctor. I went to Dr. Amir in San Diego. Nice guy, good credentials. No bruising. Feels swollen but not flat-out painful. A few very tiny needle dots. Looks like maybe I have a few zits... more
