“Subtle Improvement - Redwood City, CA”
I had Ulthera done in four sections along my jaw to improve the appearance of jowls. It took about 20 minutes total. I took 800mg of ibuprofen before the treatment. Still, it was very painful and I had nerve pain, with occasional "zings" of sharp pain in my jaw and teeth for about 3 days after the procedure. After 4 months, I'm not seeing much of an improvement. What do others think?After... more
“Skin Tightening with Eyebrow Lift -...”
The treatment is painful and can leave one with temporary sensations of numbness in treated areas. Communication is the key to successful treatment. During the treatment I experienced an increase sensation of discomfort from the prior pulses, I told the provider whom adjusted the head . Its a good thing I communicated this or I may have ended up with more then the three grid marks I had in my... more
Hi have had Ultherapy a couple of times awhile back (I'm 43) and just had it done again. I have to say it matters WHO does it more than anything. I had "ok" results the first couple of times but this last time I went to someone new and she did an AMAZING job. I wish I had gone to her in the first place. Highly recommend it and it seriously works well on me. I feel like more aggressive... more
“Smooth and Firm - Palo Alto, CA”
I have seen D. Hessler for Botox, filler and a variety of skin brighteners, but she suggested the Ultheraphy. It was a simple in office procedure that involved a little relaxer to take the edge off and a wand smoothing out the lines on my face and neck. It was not painful until she went around the temples which the muscles twitched as she went back and forth. The neck and eyes were the... more
“Now The Wait Begins - Walnut Creek, CA”
Hi Everyone! Well after months of research, including reading all of these reviews, I committed to having Ultherapy done this afternoon. I will detail my experience and then (drumroll please) I WILL be posting pictures at the 3 month mark. I think reviews are not too useful without the photographic evidence. So here we go: I am 38, and am having Ultherapy to see if it can raise my... more
“Ulthera Brow Lift and Eye Area...”
I have some loose skin above/below my eyes. My brows are slightly lower than I want. (I had tried Exilis in that area 2x.) Total Pain was low (think lower face is worse). Yes hurt, but for 1 hr in room, but only 3 min total treatment (30 rounds @ 5 sec each). No diff yet, only day 1. 3 mo. to go.It has been 1 month and 4 days. I can't see a difference yet. :( 2 more months to go.... more
“Ultherapy - Walnut Creek, CA”
I am turning 50 in a couple of months and wanted to have a little lift to my jowl area so I thought Ultherapy would be a good option for me since I don't think I'm ready for a lower face lift yet. My friend had it done and I went with her. She got about 24 shots of lidocane in her face as well as a vicodin and xanax to help with the pain. She got immediate results and was very... more
“2nd Ultherapy Treatment - Bay Area, CA”
I had full face/neck for 2nd time yesterday. Last time was November 2010. The largest difference my first treatment made was in the lift of my brow...as is emphasized by Ulthera, themselves. It's true. I had lift to the eyes because of brow lift and very slightly more jawline definition. However, as of just before my 2nd treatment on Friday, one of my eyes had actually more sag than it did... more
