“Fraxel Laser - Laser MD Cosmetics -...”
Had my first Fraxel Laser procedure yesterday at Laser MD Commetics in Long Beach, Ca. A couple of nurse friends referred me. The physician performing the procedure is quite competent and has been performing laser for many years. His RN assistant Lisa has taught many physicians around the country how to use lasers. The procedure was well tolerated after the numbing cream. Felt like... more
“Fraxel for Skin Pigmentation and Sun...”
Being 22 I must say I was a bit worried about doing the fraxel, but I am so happy with the results. If you have lighter skin tone with freckles as I do the recovery time does take longer. (my skin stayed pink for longer, six months) but nothing a little makeup can cover. The worst part is having to stay completely out of the sun for six months to a year. It was harder then I imagined it to be.... more
“Lorrie Klein's Office is More...”
I had Fraxel ReStore done by Klein's nurse practitioner in 2009. There were zero side effects, yet learning that a good Fraxel ReStore is supposed to give you puffiness or some swelling, redness, etc. I walked out of the office on all occassions like nothing had happened. Not even slight peeling. I recently found out through another doctor that they must of performed the "light" Fraxel on... more
“Experience Some Brownish Reddish...”
Hello everyone just trying to see if I can get some feed back on my co2 laser treatment... Iv had co2 done two and a half weeks ago I went through where I was bright red to brown than to peeling which I hear it normal but after I was told to start the bleaching cream again after the 7th day noticed it made my face turn red so I was told to minimize the amount. But its been two and a half weeks... more
“Great Bang for the Buck - Seal Beach, CA”
When I go in for fraxel, I go in for a portion of my face. $150 is the cost for treating a cheek from my smile line to my outer cheekbone and my cheekbone down to my jaw. I have had my cheeks treated 3 times each. I've had 150$ worth of my forehead, including between my eyes, once. And a $150 area of my arm, once. The fraxel laser Aesthetic Laser Care (ALC) uses is not Dual, but similar... more
“In Panic Mode Days After Fraxel Dual...”
Im 45 and had fraxel dual March 1. I had had thermage the week before and was very pleased with that procedure. It hurt, but there really was no healing process. I may have been a little pink and puffy but that was for like a day and i could wear makeup no problem. I am ashamed of myself because on a whim i purchases a package which included both treatments. I went to a top dermo office in oc... more
“Love my Fraxels! - Laguna Niguel, CA”
My first Fraxel was in March 2009 at the age of 48, and I bought a series of 3 for a discount, and had them nearly 3 months apart. My skin improved each time, not within the first 10 healing days, but defintely after that. After the 3rd, I had beautiful skin. I have had two more since, once each year to update me, on a slightly stronger setting each time, as my skin was obviously able to... more
“Fraxel Re:store - Laguna Niguel, CA”
I am 35 yrs old, with fair skin, freckles and strawberry blond hair (German/Irish background). I decided to get the Fraxel Re:store to help with crows feet and wrinkles around the eyes, and crepey skin/laxity under the eyes. I chose the Fraxel Re:store for the minimal downtime vs the Re:pair (and I thought I would save the stronger Re:pair for when I'm older). I got the "eye... more
I had theramge the week before so this was a scheduled procedure. The numbing gel worked and best advice, make sure you ask for sun goggles. My face is still warm and swollen, starting to flake and red and blotchy. Luckily my job has flex hours so I can work from home. I'm hoping it gets rid of my sun damage, broken capillaries and blotchy skin tone. I'm very thin skinned with... more
“Innovative - Highly Competent...”
During my initial visit I had Dr. Klein surgically remove a tiny mole on my face. I also inquired about the laser treatment procedures to remove old acne facial scars. Dr. Klein provides the latest in laser technology treatments that are both safe and effective. She has a complete knowledge of the products and services she provides her clients and a customized approach that is designed... more
“Fraxel Re Store - Santa Ana, CA”
I have had the fraxel restore four times for my sun spots. My face still has it with 40% less than the initial. When I returned, the doctor said I have to wait two months for it takes ito affect. So, is the doctor telling the truth or is she conning me? Are the treatment fix the sun spot or melasma disappear? more
“Fraxel Ruined my Skin, Should Be...”
A friend and I made appointment for Fraxel to clear some very minor discoloration of the skin and as pre-treatment for minor fine lines in very early stages. My friend had hyperpigmentation from an old chemical peel in her teens, which had left her with mildly blotchy skin in one area of the cheek. After my first treatment, which was excruciatingly painful, I had good results. The skin... more
“Fraxel Result - Laguna Niguel, CA”
I have had two of four fraxel restore treatments I wanted to reduce some mild acne scarring but mostly wanted to reduce wrinkling and pebbly-type skin on my upper lip. So far I am not seeing a difference of any significance. I had all the typical reactions- red puffiness and the bronzing and peeling afterwards. The acne scars seem slightly better, but not the upper lip wrinkles. more
“Fraxel...Not Sure if It's Worth It”
It has been 1 year since I had 2 (supposed to have 5) treatments of Fraxel. When the skin first peeled off, I was pretty happy with what was underneath. That does change. Even though I lather in sunscreen, and walk around with hat or umbrella. Living in Southern California, there is almost no way to escape some sun exposure, thus I have some new pigmentation problems. Redness, what looks... more
I had Fraxel done 5 days ago and I'm very pleased. I've read quite a few of the reviews on this website and I'm surprised that more people haven't had as positive an experience as I have, so far. My doctor was awesome. She was very honest about 3 different treatment options, detailing the pros and cons of each and didn't try to sway me one way or another. I decided... more
