Restylane in Lips After Rhinoplasty?

I had restylane injected into my upper and lower lips after my revision rhinoplasty 2 weeks ago? Will this affect my final result? My surgeon is out of town right now and I live 18 hours away from him, so I didn't think anything about until now because of all the swelling. I am so worried that I made a dumb mistake and did something wrong. I can handle having swollen ugly lips for awhile bc it can be fixed, unlike a rhinoplasty in which is a much more invasive surgery! I feel like such an idiot!

A: restylane and rhinoplasty

Assuming the Restylane was injected in the usual places in the lip, it will not be associated with any poor result from the rhinoplasty.  Additionally, you are not an idiot.  A Facial Plastic Surgeon will listen to what your desires are and come up with a safe way to get there.

How Do I Find an Experienced Doctor for Restylane for my Sunken Eyes?

I want the best results for underneath my deep set eyes, as I know this is a delicate area and the feedback keeps saying to find a doctor with experience. What questions do I ask when I'm interviewing doctors?

A: Sunken eyes

I would suggest seeing a board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon.  They are the only surgeons who deal exclusively with the face and neck.  Often, fillers aren't the best choice for sunken eyes.  In addition, Restylane may not be the best choice.  It often will migrate after a few months and leave little bags under the eyes.  The placement of the filler is important.  Sometimes, only a subtle sub dermal injection is needed.  Often, a deeper injection is required.  Someone who has operated on the structures around the lower lid many times is best able to place the injection in the correct area.  Please use Arnica and Bromelin before the injection and avoid aspirin.  This will lead to decreased bruising.

How Can I Find a Doctor That is Very Skilled in Injecting Under Eye Resylane?

I am searching for a doctor who is very skilled in injecting under the eyes to fix hollows. However, I feel many doctors say they do this treatment when in reality they haven't done it often. What are the questions I should be asking and what other things should I look for? Also what is the cost to this procedure? I have heard about extremely low and high costs so I am very confused. Thanks for the help!

A: Fillers for the hollows under the eye.

To find a good surgeon to do your injections, look for Board Certification.  Second, get referrals from the American Society of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  Third, interview the doctor and fell confident that the doctor is competent.   Fourth, ask for photos or even a patient to talk to.

As for pricing, highly trained specialists typically don't discount their prices.
