Is the GLO Whitening System Worth the Cost?

Is this an effective/safe home whitening treatment? (http://www.gloscience.com/store/) Or am I better off having my teeth professionally whitened ? My teeth aren't extremely yellow but I'd like them to be a bit more white.

A: I dont like home whitening kits..

Home whitening kits are a over the counter product that can be harmful if used incorrectly. The trays never fit great and your results will be marginal. Dental office whitening is safe, effective and will not damage the enamel. Crest white strips have the same problem..Very minimal results..!

What is the Best Recommended Product for Using Trays for Teeth Whitening?

What is the Best Recommended Product for Using Trays for Teeth Whitening?

A: Nite white or opalescense...

These are the two products I have used in my office for years and had a good result. Dont buy anything online or over the counter. Those products are not reliable..

Can a Tooth/crown Be Excluded when Making a Mold?

I have crowns on my front teeth (crowns are 15 yrs old). One of the crowns has a small nick off the front face (invisible to anyone but myself and my dentist). I'm concerned that when they make molds (for a teeth whitening - my crowns are now a bit lighter than the surrounding teeth) that the crown will shear at that spot as the nick is inset and about a quarter of way from the bottom. I don't want to replace my crowns. Is there any way to exclude my crowns when making a mold?

A: Your crowns will be fine with whitening trays

They cant really leave out the crowns from the molds cuz then the trays would not stay in very well. Have the trays made and you'll see that they dont affect the crowns at all..
