I'm most concerned with my under eyes, I'm considering upper and lower eyelid surgery. I'm looking to get my laugh lines filled in to. Right now, however, I'm looking for something to improve my overall facial appearance. Would a chemical peel be good? Sun damage, some redness and sensitive facial skin. I have a dull, tired appearance now. Please advise me as to things I should pursue, and not pursue! Thank you all. I should have a pic on my profile.
It is impossible to say what u need without photos or an examination. See an experienced surgeon for a proper evaluation.
I am 39 yrs old and 18 months ago, I had a full face CO2 Laser rejuvenation. Despite overall improved skin quality in the past 6 months, I have developed under eye bags, creping, shadows and upper cheek volume loss. I look tired and worn out. When I pull the skin of my face back slightly, it improves.
I wonder if the Laser treatment tightened the skin and now it has 'dropped', not back to its previous position, but worse than before? I am loathe to use dermal fillers. Can anyone recommend a suitable laser treatment for this issue? Thanks.
Ulthera is a possible treatment option to tighten some of your sagging skin. However, fillers are the only way to restore volume in your face. And it is the volume that makes your face look youthful.
Would you consider fat grafting? Instead of a filler, a plastic surgeon could use your own fat to add volume back to your face.
I'm 44. My jaw line area is what if anything tells my 'real' age (not marionette lines). What can be done for the jaw line, specifically on either side of the chin, that does not involve surgery? The issue's minor and more obvious from the side than facing full front. I didn't even realize until I saw a photo of myself taken from the side. I don't have jowls, a double or loose chin, nor am I under or over weight (5' 7", 134 pounds). Thank you.
It sound like you might be a good candidate for Ulthera. Since you are only experiencing minimal sagging around your jawline, Ulthera is a great option. It works by stimulating your body to produce new collagen. Over time you will experience gradual tightening and firming of the skin along your jawline. Ulthera provides a natural lift without the need for surgery.
