The target area is upper lip and underarm. Light sheer diode or Gentlelase Alexandrite? Thank you
It is difficult to answer this question without seeing you in person. Please have an evaluation with a reputable physician before going forward. If your skin is fair, you will do fine with the Alexandrite laser. However, if you have olive undertones or tend to pigment/tan easily, the NdYag or the diode laser is best to avoid any hyper-pigmentation problems.
i'm planning to get a hair removal on bikini area but i have heared that using laser on those area would cause a sense of frustration from their inability to feel sensation, pleasure, or sexual pleasure from vaginal-penile intercourse
There is no evidence that laser hair removal causes any sensation loss in the bikini area. You may have some very temporary swelling, redness and superficial numbness immediately following the procedure, but this should resolve in a few days. There should be no effect on sexual pleasure at all.
After my 4th Laser Hair Removal session for underarms, I noticed that there were alot more red dots /appearance of scabs than what I had experienced in the previous 3 treatments. Prior to this session I had very clean results for underarms; without any marks or redness. I'm concerned because I have my final treatment in 4weeks and I don't want to make it worse or encourage scarring as I have olive skintone. When will this heal properly, if at all? Should I cancel the 5th laser session?
You may want to return to the place where you had your treatment so they can see what happened. It is possible that you have developed folliculitis or a bacterial infection in the hair follicles in that area. If that is the case, you may need some topical or systemic antibiotics to clear it up. Otherwise, you may be having an irritant reaction to the process itself which can also be treated. Either way, it should be examined by your practitioner.
