I had been dealing with my eye bags since as early as 27 years of age. Mine were a product of a genetic inheritance and very hard to hide with make-up. Not only did I suffer from under eye darkness, but puffiness too. I tried household remedies as well as many over the counter products, but none of them served my purpose. I became pretty self-conscious about it and then I learned about a... more
Dr. Shemirani is the absolute best. I went to him for fillers under my eyes and on my cheekbones. I barely get any sleep and the bags under my eyes were horrible.. In the past I have had to use heavy makeup to hide the dark circles and now I do not. After consulting with Dr. Shemirani about my problem with my under eye circles he suggested I get Radiesse. Also, I am very skinny so I barely had... more
All my life, I have had the issue with sliding shades which cases me to have cheek prints; very annoying.
I have considered rhinoplasty but I honestly do not have the time to take off from work for the recovery period. I have also heard many horror stories which required revisions post surgery. Of course, not all stories are bad and it is all dependent on the research you and doctor's... more
I was pretty nervous about going to a specialist to remove my frown lines but Dr. Emer was amazing at making me feel comfortable. He used a special needle as well as ice, and numbing creams to make sure I didn't feel any pain (especially since it was the area between my eye brows). I didn't feel any pain, and I am very happy with the results from the injection. I also got Botox to prevent the... more
"It has happened to me right in front of my face, my two lips can't describe it!" To quote CeCe, yes, I finally made the move after five years of wonder, and 2 years of looking on Real Self for the right Doctor.
Upon scrutinizing review, I chose Dr. Nima Shemarani and already know I made the smart move! From super sweet Taylor at the front, to the thorough and soft yet informative Director... more
The in thing right now is big lips. My lips aren't small but aren't big either. I am now in complete awe with my lips. The 1st time I went in for Juvederm, only 0.5cc was used. I went back in 2 weeks later to use the remainder of the Juvederm and I couldn't be happier! The pictures speak for itself! more
I felt that my lips were too pointy and wanted them to look full. I am absolutely amazed with the look. It is subtle enough that people compliment my look but cant really tell whats different. I used 1cc of Juvederm which was more than enough. I was very nervous after seeing the syringe but the doctor told me it had lidocaine in it so it was not very painful. more
I am in my mid 40's and have had fillers for about 5 years so have had a good deal of experience. I heard good things about Dr Gal Aharonov so I went to see him. We discussed what I wanted and what I would think about, as he suggested filler in my Jaw but I explicitly said I would think about that and would not have it 'today' in his office, and then I was sent to his assistant Faye's desk to... more
I've never had fillers before, so I was very nervous to get them done, but not anymore! Dr Park was not only so informative he calmed my nerves and he has a great technique as it barely hurt! I had Juvederm injected in my lips and under my eyes. Neither of them hurt at all even though he said the lips are pretty sensitive, but it went smoothly! I did bruise and swell which is pretty... more
I had juvederm in my naso lines about five months ago. It looked great. No downtime, barely any swelling, no bruising, I just looked fantastic. I noticed it started to fade just a bit and figured getting a touch up would be OK, but I wasn't sure. Maybe it could overfill? My doctor (a new one -- in Santa Monica -- I had a botox scare with my last one and wrote a lot about it!), who seems good,... more
This review isn't just for Juvederm but I will start with It. I have my entire face filled and I have Juvederm in my lips, about 1.25 syringes over 2 sessions. I also have Juvederm under my bottom lip filling a little dimple under my chin and I have 1 syringe of it in my cheeks. These amounts are approximate..give or take .5 cc.
I have Restylane under my eyes, initially that was 3 syringes... more
So I actually did my lips in my home town and I was soo scared but then I was excited however you can imagine they actually added 1 full syringe to my upperlip so now ineed some in my lower lip, it was a good experience imean never again will I do it but I like the fact that your able to really just rock your lipstick. I did not feel anything at all not even a pinch nothing more
I don't chose people I go to lightly usully but was traveling through LA and did only some quick research this time. Doing anything to your face can be scary. The worst however is when you feel you look scary with the finished products! Possibly Dr. Aharonov is good for giving someone a dimple or something like that but for the art of filler and turning back the hands of time there is just... more
In my late 30's I finally gathered up the courage to begin to approach some cosmetic issues that have been a thorn in my side for quite a while. For the past few years I appeared tired, my eyes hallowed and given some recent weight loss my face seemed disproportionate. I did much research and decided that the best option for me was a rhinoplasty (which I have considered on and off since I... more
I was procrastinating to have filler done to my mid cheek areas and troughs under my eyes because I was concerned with an unnatural look or having a lumpy appearance. The outcome was terrific and the restoration of volume to the areas I was concerned about was impressive. I would do it again without hesitation. more
Very expensive lesson learned for terrible results. Lots of filler and dont recognize myself for the worst when was supposed to just rujuvinate and be natural. Not natural at all. I have friends who have had similar things and look fine when I saw them at a wedding which is why I looked into in los angeles where I live. I heard some bad things but against any doubt just went with... more
I have nothing against preserving your youth and fixing lines or anything that makes you happy! I started to see my laugh line crease starting to have a slight fold. I hated it and decided to have a filler done when I went to LA. I found a place on yelp with the most ratings and best reviews. I booked an appointment with the clinical director Lovely, and she was amazing. She is on the... more
So thought I'd review my experiences on juvaderm! I started in September...I've had it done 3 times already ...so in a 7 month period...I'll explain, and I've had a different doctor every time I live in Bev Hills area so there's always a good doctor, and deals :)
First time in September I did a full syringe it was a special for $450 normally $550...I guess it's better to start off from my... more
I had one viral of Juvederm Ultra in my laugh lines and lips. This is the third times in 3 years that I have had it done. She told me it's best to come in and have additional Juvederm before the previous injection is completely gone. For this reason I had it done 9 months after my previous procedure, even though the affects of the previous injections still looked pretty good. This is the... more
This may be a little premature to review but I just had 1 syringe of juvederm injected in my tear trough/ upper cheeks and I am ecstatic with the result. I've been contemplating doing this for over a year, for fear of bruising or damaging worse such a delicate area. I instantly looked 5 years younger walking out the door. I can't stop staring in the mirror! The result is very natural but nice.... more
