Rhinoplasty

I chose Dr. Solieman (and Dr. Litner) after researching and consulting with MANY doctors and feeling comfortable with these two. I feel that these doctors and I share similar taste in what we find attractive in a nose, i.e. we established I did not want a "scooped out" nose, a "ski jump" nose, or a "super, cute, tiny, totally fake" nose, but, rather a natural, slightly smaller/refined version of my own nose. I had done my my own nose job in photoshop and showed these Drs. exactly what I wanted. They were understanding and listened to me when I explained exactly what I wanted done, and then they explained to me how they would execute it. I was nervous when they told me they were going to do an "open" rhinoplasty, but after they explained how the surgeon can actually see what they're doing in an open rhinoplasty, it just made sense and felt right to do it open. The hardest part of my procedure was finding Dr. Solieman, once I found him, the rest was a breeze.

I had a Rhinoplasty 3 weeks ago and my nose is still very swollen. Is this normal?

Yes, this can be normal for you. Swelling after any surgery resolves in stages and this is also true of Rhinoplasty. The worst “I can’t leave my house” swelling is gone within 1, or sometimes, 2 weeks. After this, you will be presentable
