Approximately How Long Does It Take to See the Full Effects of a Dysport Brow Lift?

How long will the results from Dysport brow lift last?

A: Brow lifting with Dysport

Dysport provides some brow elevation that you can visibly notice generally within a week (or less time for some). But not everyone has the same response as the affected muscles may have different degrees of lift capability once the muscles that pull down are relaxed.

Often Hyaluronic gel filler used in the brow area will provide a very sophisticated dimensional brow effect that can't be accomplished with muscle relaxers alone. If you have lost some of the bony support and the brow has flattened, then fillers strategically placed do a great job of restoring that younger 3D appearance and give the brow a lift effect too.

How Long Does Droopy Eyebrow Last After Having Dysport Side Effect?

I was administered dysport in between brows. why did my eyes fall or drop to my lashes and how long will it stay like that ?

A: Heavy brows after Dysport

Greetings~

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate Dysport experience.  When treating between the brows to address the vertical scowl lines, we are treating the muscles that run horizontally over the brow and when they contract create the vertical lines.  If instead of injecting those muscles part of the frontalis muscle (the muscles responsible for raising the eyebrows) is injected and weakened the brows can fall and flatten.  Though the effects of Dysport generally last 3-4 months, unwanted outcomes such as this generally resolve much sooner. (a few weeks)  The good news is, it will wear off. Hang in there.

Good luck~

Can Dysport's Effect Be Reversed or Reduced Any Way?

I had Dysport injections done for crow's feet, I think 3 units on either side. It has given me slightly puffy eyes when my face is at rest and big eye bags when I smile or laugh, it looks awful! I'm so upset, I have an appt. with the provider to show her these terrible results, I think she was careless, gave me too much or it spread to areas it shouldn't. Can anything be done to diminish the effects of Dysport? Can fillers like Restylane help plump up the deep creases I now get when I smile?

A: New lines after Dysport

Greetings~

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with Dysport.  It's not the product itself that is to blame, but the areas and amount injected.  I'm certain it was much more than 3 units that were injected.  There were perhaps 3 injection sites on either side.  The good news is the Dysport will wear off in time and all will be well...the bad news is the process can not be accelerated. You can help to disguise the lines under the eyes with a small amount of Restylane but choose your injector wisely...this procedure can look great if done well but look terrible if done incorrectly or over-injected.  (The good news about Restylane is that it can be reversed/dissolved if there are problems).  It may be best not to do anything further and just let the Dysport subside on its own and not chase the problem and risk creating more problems.  Hang in there.

Good luck~
