I had a brow pexy over a year ago. I now have very hollow areas directly under my brows. What could have been done to prevent this. How can it be permanently fixed? I am a 52 year old female.
This is a slight in the bone in this area in my opinion. Nothing is removed in the location with a brow lift unless something else was performed with the the procedure that you had. This area can be easily filled with fat injections or more temporary products to see if you like the result.
I am 45 with no sun damage to my skin, however I have bad acne scars on my forehead. I have had dermabrasion when I was 25, followed by two CO2 laser treatments, and 4 Fraxel laser treatments. I have also had Deep FX. None of these worked for my forehead acne and in fact I do believe over time simply modified the scars by softening the sharp edges, while making my skin look the texture of cottage cheese in that it is severely dimpled all over from the various lasers.
A brow lift is to lift the brows and reduce the dynamic lines along the forehead. This technique will not help with the acne once the swelling resolves. Also if a brow lift is done for this reason it may put you brows in a undesirable position.
I just had an endoscopic browlift 10 days ago. My brows do look better than before, but they are not as lifted, particularly the lateral brow, as I had expected. I asked my doctor about it, and he said they will continue to lift more with some time, but I can't find any information about that online.
i believe that the brows will come down and settle after surgery but not go up. But he may have a different technique that is am unaware.
