I am 23 years old, I have never been married nor I have children. Do you recomend having a liposuction before marriage and having children. Will in the future affect me having children?
I always recommend to my female patients that they have liposuction before pregnancy while your skin's elasticity is at it's best. After pregnancy your results may not be as optimal as before due to your skin's compromised laxity. It will not affect your ability to have children in the future.
I had liposuction done in my abdomen, lower back, inner and outer thighs and knees 5 weeks ago. He extracted 2.3 liters of fat. Right after leaving the OR I felt smaller, even when I got home I noticed some changes in my body. But now, 5 weeks later, I feel right back where I started. I see no changes, nobody knew about my surgery and nobody noticed anything different in my body so far. I've been doing post-op treatments, and I know I might be swollen, but am I going to see changes in my body?
Swelling after liposuction usually lasts 2-4 weeks, however sometimes it can be longer. About 80% of results will be seen after 4-6 months and sometimes a little longer. It is best to be patient and not make any final judgements for at least another 6-8 months or so.
