Dr Vij performed a breast reduction on me in April 2024 (I am 31 years old). This was the best decision I ever made for myself, and choosing Dr Vij was the right decision. Although there are other surgeons in Perth who position themselves are the more “experienced” breast reduction surgeons, Dr Vij had the best before & after photos, so I was comfortable knowing I was in good hands. From the initial phone conversation to book my consultation, through to my 1 year post-op appointment, the service that Dr Vijayasekaran and his team provided me with was amazing. At the initial consultation Dr Vijayasekaran made me feel comfortable, at ease and helped me to understand every aspect of the surgery journey that I was about to embark on. None of my questions were considered silly questions, and all answered in a way that I could understand, giving me options as to what would suit my body shape best in his medical opinion and leaving the final choice to me. On the day of my surgery, his team of medical staff at the hospital made me feel comfortable and helped to calm my nerves with light-hearted casual conversation. Everyone was kind, approachable and nothing was an issue for them. Dr Vijayasekaran saw me prior to heading to the operating room and explained how the surgery process would occur. The following morning, Dr Vijayasekaran saw me before being discharged and explained the details of how the surgery went, gave me advice about my recovery and to contact his team if I was concerned about anything at all. Nothing was an issue. As my recovery went on, I emailed his office staff on numerous occasions to ensure that I was doing everything as I should and his office staff were always willing to help as I needed it. Many phone calls and emails were always answered and always helpful. Now coming up to a year after my surgery, Dr Vijayasekaran and his team are still willing to help with any questions I may have about anything moving forward. I could not fault Dr Vijayasekaran, his medical staff or his office staff. Every part of my surgery journey has been easy and amazing. Dr Vijayasekaran and his team are always willing to help and are always there with a welcoming smile. Thankyou - you've all made my journey an easy and an amazing one. Nothing is too much.

Dr Vij was the first and only consult for my Breast Augmentation and Tummy Tuck. He put me at ease from the first interaction and told me what i could expect etc. I booked in straight away for surgery in 8 weeks. I has my preop where we checked sizing and nothing was ever too much for him and his amazing team. My op went perfect. Dr Vij checked on me every day. I did have a set back of my wounds opening up for my tummy tuck and the after care was flawless. I seen Dr Vij and his nurses weekly. I am now 6 months post op and my only regret (apart from not going bigger with my implants!) is not getting it done sooner. You are in amazing hands with Dr Vij. Do not hesitate to book.

The whole process with dr Vij has been so easy. Vij and his team have been super helpful and easy to get in contact. Dr. Vij is one of a kind and I cannot recommend him enough! The consultation process was effortless, and after requesting to have my surgery date moved forward his lovely secretaries did their best to work with my requests and landed me the perfect surgery date! The surgery itself was a great experience - as someone who deals with anxiety they made me feel so at home and every member of the hospital staff at West Leederville were fantastic! Dr Vijayasekaran is incredible and I highly recommend him to everyone. I had a terrible experience with breast augmentation in Thailand 9 years prior by a different surgeon and noticed in 2020 one of the implants had displaced. After having a mammogram and ultrasound it was confirmed that both implants had ruptured with one of them displacing out of the pocket. After being examined by Dr Vijay he also commented that I would benefit from a breast lift, but he found an implant that would solve the issue as well as fill out the area after the removal of the damaged implants plus breast tissue which had the ruptured implants imbedded in it. Dr Vijay was reassuring and kind throughout the entire process, his surgical skills & expertise are phenomenal with meticulous attention to detail, I was really impressed that every encounter with him has always been met with a huge smile on his face which always put me at ease.

I couldn't have had an easier or better experience with my surgery. From the consult, surgery day & check up appointments. Dr Vij made me feel at ease, comfortable & excited for my surgery. He is very respectful and professional! I have a underboob tattoo, he even managed to cut & stitch around my tattoo!! I was in and out of surgery and home within 4 hours, the hospital was amazing! The nurses and staff before and after helped me so much and were so lovely, I received phone calls to check on me post surgery. My healing time and experience was awesome, I'm officially 8 weeks post op and I LOVE them and completely back to normal, scars are gone & my boobs have settled perfectly into place. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

After considering this procedure for approximately 3 years - first doing all my research and attending consults with different surgeons (some charging double what Vij does) before making a final decision, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Dr Vij! He and his team made me feel at ease throughout the whole process, they addressed all my questions and concerns honestly without pressuring me to commit to any decisions. I decided on a slightly smaller implant than what Dr Vij had recommended from fear that it might feel like too much change - Dr Vij was supportive of this decision and didn’t push his recommendation to have a larger size at all? which is another tick in my book! His bedside manner is extremely calming and reassuring and I definitely felt at ease trusting him with this procedure. My results are hands down AMAZING; the size and placement are perfect and scars are small and healing/fading well. The recovery was pretty much smooth sailing, and Dr Vij had prepared me so well for what to expect. I also want to make mention of the impressive follow up I have received - his secretary has always responded to my emails with 24 hours and did not hesitate to organise a face to face consult with Dr Vij to address any post op concerns. He has also advised I am able to have ongoing annual follow ups with him if I wish. Overall I can’t fault any part of my experience, and would recommend Dr Vij to anyone considering a breast augmentation procedure!

Dr Vijayasekaran was very direct and honest at all times. He offered realistic advice about what results I could expect during the consults. I trusted him on what was going to be a good result and he was 100% right about everything he said. He and his staff were really accommodating with my scheduling of appointments leading up to the surgery as I had to travel for it, with the first consult happening via Skype, and then meeting Dr Vij in person a day before my surgery! My experience at the West Leederville Private Hospital before and after the surgery was really caring and supportive. I’ve had a few other medically necessary surgeries in recent years and have never been taken care of so well, especially on the first night when I was feeling so vulnerable - honestly I should have given those nurses flowers. The after care was great too - I had multiple appointments before flying home and the hospital called me every few days between appointments. Once I had flown home I was still sending pictures and asking for lots of advice and I was always given a call and talked through the healing process. I found the six weeks recovery to be very draining and painful but I was given a range of pain killers to manage it. I do wish I had taken longer off work to recover initially. I took one week, then one week working from home, then back on site with light duties. It was really tough, I really underestimated the recovery process. Now it’s been 3.5 months since my breast reduction now and I absolutely love it, I feel so confident and sexy. My boyfriend loves my new boobs and I’ve been enjoying wearing all kinds of clothes. I think the scars are really minimal and I don’t even notice them anymore. It was such a good investment of time and money to make me so much happier then I expected.
