After Receiving Botox My Eyes Began to Burn. Doctor Said He'd Never Heard of That Happening, Could it be Related?

I had botox by an experienced doctor two and a half days ago inbetween the brows and forehead, that evening when i went to bed my eyes started burning very bad starting at the inner corner of the eyes also my eyes started twitching when closed,a tear would fill the eye from the corner and pass over my eye burning .I also have sore eyes.My gp gave me drops i rang the doctor who gave me the botox he had never heard of this problem and im going t an eye specialist, please advice me

A: Burning eyes aft Botox This would be a very unusual side effect if indeed it is do to the Botox injections. Having used used Botox for many years I have never seen or heard of such a complaint. You should consider seeing an opthomologist (eye surgeon) to rule out other possible causes and/or call Allergan (the maker of Botox) customer service to see if they have received similar concerns.

My Glabella Area Puckers Sometimes on It's Own After 13 Units of Botox, Normal?

I am first time user-I received 10 units of botox in my glabella region 6 weeks ago with an improved appearance after 1 week, then 3 more units 2 weeks later. I never noticed any more improvement and after 6 weeks the botox is gone. When I rub the area (it seems to itch more now), it puckers up before my eyes, then relaxes many seconds later. It's weird & creepy. I see my provider again next week but can't afford more right now. She seemed puzzled on the phone so I don't know what to expect.

A: it may be that you need more botox Hello, One of my office staff had this. It was after some light Botox. Time or more Botox are both solutions. Nothing bad is happening. All the best, Dr Repta

How Long Should I Wait After my Septorhinoplasty to Have Botox Injections?

I had a septorhinoplasty operation 3 weeks ago and I now wish to have botox and fillers in other areas on the face, how long should I wait

A: Timing of facial fillers and Botox in relationship to a rhinoplasty

Although you could theoretically have Botox injected concurrent with a rhinoplasty, it may be slightly safer to wait around 1 month for much of the swelling to subside if you are considering its usage in the glabella (lower mid-forehead) area. If you just need it in the forehead or crow's feet area, then any time is OK.

For facial fillers, you could also inject at any time but realize that some areas can be affected by swelling as a consequence of the surgery.
