Can I Get a Nose Job for Free if I Have Been Referred to by a Doctor for my Nose?
I recently broke my nose and had to get surgery to fix it but my cartilage needs to be reconstructed so I have been referred to a cosmetic surgeon. Am I able to get a free nose job if I have already been referred to one? Will he shave down parts of my nose I dislike?
A: Insurance does not cover cosmetic portion of nasal surgeryInsurance will cover the reconstructive part of your surgery - that related to your fracture - but will not cover the cosmetic component. Your surgeon will charge for this as will the facility and the anesthesiologist - this is not done gratis and for many reasons.
When I bend over I get a twinge of pain I feel like is from the stitches used in the ab separation. I had a 2" separation that was closed from the top to the bottom. I have been feeling great but just lately I feel like at the top and middle I feel a couple stitches. Are these permanent? Do they dissolve? What can I expect? I go by to my PS in 2 weeks -- just wondering if it is something I should worry about.
A: Sutures for the muscle repair in a tummy tuckMost plastic surgeons use permanent sutures for the muscle repair while the rest use absorbable ones. You will have to ask your plastic surgeon which one he/she used.
You may feel some of these sutures now if your fat layer is fairly thin particularly with some resolution of swelling - so don't worry about this right now. When you see your plastic surgeon, have him/her check the areas of concern.
What Size Implants Do I Need to Go From an A/B to a D Cup? (photo)
I am 34b some bras that are an A fit. i am 122 pounds 5'8'' i am getting a lift too. the doc thinks i should not go higher then 325 ccs and says ill be a C but i want to be a D i think. What sizes CCS should i get? he wants to go over the muscle
A: Questions about implant size for a breast lift and enlargementRecommending via the internet what size implant would provide you with a "D" cup is pure speculation. A meticulous examination would be far more accurate and helpful.
You will be undergoing a breast lift as well as an augmentation. Is there a particular reason that a submammary pocket was chosen. That along with a larger sized implant is fraught with long term problems including stretching and thinning of your breast skin with descending of your breast and implant down your chest and then abdomen. If you are going to have the implants placed in this pocket, stay smaller.
