His staff is world class! My OB/GYN nurse told me about Dr. Shaw over 13 years ago. As an OB/GYN she sees a LOT of breasts, and said the most natural looking were always done by Dr. Shaw. I never experienced even the slightest inconvenience along the way. After researching many 'top' plastic surgeons it became quite obvious how courteous, professional, and dedicated Dr. Shaw and his team are. They went above and beyond to set me at ease throughout the process! I recently had breast augmentation and a lift and had been a bundle of nerves leading up to the procedures! I cannot stress enough how EASY the whole process, as well as, my recovery was! Dr. Shaw is a genius and made my entire experience 'a walk in the park'! I had absolutely NO pain following the surgery and was beyond ecstatic about my results... my experience with Dr. Shaw far exceeded any of my expectations and my new body has me feeling more feminine and secure than I ever imagined possible. Dr. Shaw and his team are absolutely amazing! Some may say that plastic surgery is only skin deep, but I completely disagree. After having my son later in life (I was 38) and he was just over 9 lbs (and I am just 5'1 1/2" and 105 lbs normally) - I was left with not so beautiful breasts and a sagging tummy - yuck! Dr. Shaw performed Breast Agumentation for me in 2005 - AMAZING... but no matter how much I worked out and lost all of my weight, I would still look in the mirror and feel like I was still too young to look as old as my tummy made me feel. I finally decided (after much deliberation) to have a tummy tuck in December 2011. OH MY GOSH! I wish I would have had this done 7 years ago!! It is so wonderful to be able to go to my closet and find clothes that show off my curves and flat tummy instead of trying to find clothes to hide behind. My husband absolutely LOVES the results too. He loves the curves, the flat tummy, and the restored confidence I have again. No more "lights off"... LOL! Dr. Shaw did an amazing job with pulling in the sides to give me back my hour glass figure, and also did a great job on my belly button.

I had my breast augmentation from Dr. Shaw in 1995. I have never regretted my choice. I have never had a problem with my implants. My breasts still look great, completely natural. I've yet to have them replaced. My daughter is scheduled to have her augmentation on the 15th of Feb. and I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting her to anyone else. (NOTE: The amount I'm putting as the cost is for my daughter's recent surgery as mine from 1995 would be misleading._

Dr. Shaw was great at answering all my questions and making sure he knew exactly what I wanted with the exception of interjecting his knowledge and experience to ensure I was happy with my results. I was very appreciative of his expertise. I wanted a very natural look and not too big. I love the outcome very much. I have to admit I was on the fence and very nervous beforehand. Dr. Shaw's tone and demeanor put me at ease and I trusted him. My only low star rating was on the wait times. To avoid the longest waits in the office try to schedule morning appointments. In the afternoons I would wait almost an hour because he got so busy. The morning appointments were much quicker. Dr. Shaw seemed to be exhausted in the afternoons also which is understandable with how many patients he sees. The office is clean and decorated beautifully. I’m big on first impressions. Dr. Shaw and staff nailed that one! I was very pleased with my overall experience. I would recommend Dr. Shaw to friends and family just like he was recommended to me.

When I dragged myself into his office a week post op to tummy tuck, looking sleep deprived, horrified, and scared, his first question was, "HOW DOES IT LOOK?" That's his priority, and it's really what matters here. Dr. Shaw gets the best result of anyone in the state. I searched out every doctor in town for 2 years, and since I have severe anxiety, I was extra careful when I scrutinized all the pictures, looking up close at belly buttons, contours, and how low the scars were in each office. Hands down I made the right choice. He does beautiful work and you can't even tell it's fake. The result is what matters. I was so nervous that I put it off for 6 years, but as soon as Dr. Shaw walked into the room, I felt calm. He is WAY smarter than the rest. Really smart. Trusting him is easy.

Dr. Shaw and his staff was amazing. Everyone is friendly and readily available to answer questions or concerns. Dr. Shaw takes him time with you. Not once did he look at his watch or make you feel rushed. He really listens to what you are looking for and has strong ethics.From the moment you meet with him you immediately feel comfortable. To me this is a very private insecurity that I now am sharing with a stranger. With Dr. Shaw it was easy. There is no pressure and he listens.I had gained some weight over 10 years ago. I lost the weight, but the first to go is your bust and your butt. My breasts looked like raisins and I wanted to be able to wear a bathing suit proudly and feel sexy. I chose a very moderate size and love the way they look. Dr. Shaw reviewed several options I had to choose from and he took the time to share pros and cons of each. I felt very prepared for my surgery and well informed about my options and risks associated with the surgery. Dr. Shaw did an amazing job. I am thrilled. He was able to create the exact look I wanted. Everyone recovers differently so it is never easy for a doctor to tell you how long you should be off of work, etc. I did ask around to a few people who had had the surgery and they all said it was a breeze and they went back to work 4 days later. I wasn't quite so lucky. I did only prepare to give myself 5 days to recover and I would be back in action as others described. I was still in some discomfort and there was quite a bit of swelling. After a few adjustments and some rest I start to heal quicker. I encourage everyone to give yourself time to recover. It is major surgery. And definitely have someone stay with you as long as they can. You can't life more than 5 lbs or grab over your head for a few weeks. I knew it was tough doing things in my kitchen. If I was contemplating doing this surgery I would do exactly what I did. I found the best doctor out there and I am very happy with the results.

This was actually my second surgery with Dr. Shaw and I have been very pleased with my results both times. The first, for breast augmentation and just recently, an implant exchange and rhinoplasty. Dr. Shaw is truly a gifted surgeon and his staff are excellent. I recommend him 100% to anyone thinking of cosmetic plastic surgery. I believe reputation and past work is indicative of a great surgeon and Dr. Shaw has both. He is talented at what he does and cares about your results. Surgery is a scary thing but when you trust your body with a skilled surgeon like Dr. Shaw, it is all worth it and I could not be happier. This is the 2nd time I've had surgery with Dr. Shaw. He is a perfectionist and pays attn to details. Which is, definitely what's important for me. I've recommended all of my friends and my only sister to go with Dr. Shaw for a breast augmentation and I will continue to do so. The only low rating I gave was the wait time because with every appoint. I've had, I would wait at least 30 min. and would only see the Doc for about 5. You should ALWAYS plan for an hr for every apptmt. But he is worth the wait.
