I am first time user-I received 10 units of botox in my glabella region 6 weeks ago with an improved appearance after 1 week, then 3 more units 2 weeks later. I never noticed any more improvement and after 6 weeks the botox is gone. When I rub the area (it seems to itch more now), it puckers up before my eyes, then relaxes many seconds later. It's weird & creepy. I see my provider again next week but can't afford more right now. She seemed puzzled on the phone so I don't know what to expect.
I Am Having Breast Surgery is It Ok to Have Botx the Week Before and iF Not How Long After
There is no problem having Botox before or after surgery and in fact, I have even injected it at the time of surgery!!!!!
I had a septorhinoplasty operation 3 weeks ago and I now wish to have botox and fillers in other areas on the face, how long should I wait
Although you could theoretically have Botox injected concurrent with a rhinoplasty, it may be slightly safer to wait around 1 month for much of the swelling to subside if you are considering its usage in the glabella (lower mid-forehead) area. If you just need it in the forehead or crow's feet area, then any time is OK.
For facial fillers, you could also inject at any time but realize that some areas can be affected by swelling as a consequence of the surgery.
