Do You Recommend a Lift Or Can I Do With Only Implants? (photo)

Full C want DD - would I need a lift too or would the implant correct the sagging? I also want them closer together, as of now my nipples kind of look AROUND you, hah.

A: Implants only, Lift only, or both?

Hello,

Implants are designed to add volume, breast lift procedures are designed to shape the breasts.  Consider what is most important to you.  You will definitely need implants since a lift will not add any volume.  You will also need a lift since implants do not "lift" the breasts.

What Is The Approximate Time for Breast Implant Inframammary Incision to Heal?

Good evening, How long does it take for the breast implant inframammary incision site to heal 100%? Thank you!

A: Healing of breast fold incision

Hello,

Healing of any incision begins as soon as the incision is closed and continues until full healing has occurred.  The incision is technically sealed in 1-2 days and reaches full strength of healing at about 4 weeks.  At around 4-6 weeks the incision may be a little on the pink or red side in terms of color.  This is normal and temporary as the wound continues to mature the redness goes away.

What is the Truth About the Benelli Lift/areola Reduction? Does It Make Areola Stretch More?

Every surgeon says something different. I'd like to know if the areola stretch or become larger or not after a benelli lift/areola reduction. Some say yes others say no, so which one is it? Also, is the stitch from that surgery visible under clothes when not wearing a bra?? Thanks a lot.

A: The benelli or purse-string mastopexy works well when used properly

Hello,

The Benelli/purse-string mastopexy is really designed to reduce the areola diameter or to move the areola a very small distance approximately 1-2 cm.  How the procedure is performed and which patients are selected to undergo it is the key to how well it will work and look.  There are disaster purse-string mastopexy results and then there are routinely excellent results.  Take a look at your plastic surgeons before and after results and ask lots of questions.
