I had sunscreen#50 all over face but not directly under eyes. I fell asleep at an angle that my Rx sunglasses shifted up and I woke up to severe burns under both eyes. Three months later still red, peeling and I have deep criss cross lines under eyes that were never there. What can I do?
If your eyes are still peeling I would see your dermatologist. It is possible that you are using something that you think might hdlp that is causing you to have a persisitant contact dermatitis.
Hi,The texture of my right cheek is very different to my left cheek. The skin is crepy and I have one fine line that runs from below my tear trough down. You can only really see this line in over head lighting. I have been to a clinic and they told me its my tear trough which only fillers will solve. The thing is I guess I do have a tear trough but it doesn't really bother me. I want to avoid fillers if at all possible. I just one the right side to look like my left side. Any ideas?thanks,J
I am not sure why you wish to avoid fillers as they are the best option to fill the line bothering you. When done correctly they are also instant with no downtime. Your other options would be topicals (Retinoids) and possible laser resurfacing, which would have more downtime than the fillers. The topicals will not erase the line as the fillers will though.
I had previously IPL for hair removal and tolerated this well. I was then offered photorejuvenation but not offered a patch test. I had the procedure 2 days ago and it was immediately clear to me that I had been burnt although there was no blistering. Hoping to get referred to camouflage clinic via the local burns unit.I have read lots of threads and was wondering how people's burns healed and how long it took? My marks are black bars and coffee ground marks. Its been very distressing.
I am sure that this is very difficult to go through. While no one can tell you how long it will take to heal and what the final result will be, it will get better than it is now. Avoid the sun, as this can make it worse and make sure you are using something to keep the areas moist as they heal, whatever your doctor recommends.
