He is particularly passionate about improving the lives of women with breast cancer, which is why he founded the Alabama Breast Cancer Cooperative, a compassionate alternative to one-size-fits-all breast centers.
When not helping patients, Dr. Beckenstein uses his advanced insights to publish a range of work, including journal articles and textbook chapters, and frequently shares his expertise with colleagues at conferences across North America.
