How Long After a Medium TCA Peel Do I Need to Wait to Have IPL?
I would wait until the redness from the peel is gone, and see what is left to treat. Your peel will continue to improve your skin for several months following this, but any pigmentary issues that remain after several months will likely stay so IPL on these areas if indicated would help.
I just had my first IPL treatment for minor acne scars, light sun spots, and mild discoloration on fair un-tanned skin. It has been 4 days since the treatment and I have no brown "coffee ground" marks, scabs, redness, irritation, or visible side effects whatsoever. Did the IPL treatment work? Is this normal?
You probably had a very conservative treatment, which is far better than an overaggressive one. I would let your physician know. You do need to see some skin changes (darkening of spots) to get a result.
I had one IPL treatment a couple days ago to treat undereye dark circles, procedure took 30 seconds. Now I am finding a bunch of reviews over the internet that say it can cause fat lose several weeks after treatment! Now Im worried because I already receive restylane injections under my eyes! Please answer!
IPL works for pigmentary issues and some use it for hair removal. It is superficial and will not affect your Restylane or your own fat under your skin.
