Why Do I Have Such Pronounced Wrinkles at 18?

I'm 18 and mid last year, I started to experience changes to my appearance. I suddenly developed prominent nasolabial folds, marionette lines, fine lines, lip wrinkles and crow's feet. I've been using a retinol around my eyes for the past four months, but nothing has changed. I have always looked young for my age. I'm healthy, a good weight, I've never smoked, I spend little time outside. My parents, despite being almost 60, look younger than their years. What is happening to my face?

Himme,

Would you be able to send us photos? If you have one from last year and one new one that would be perfect. I do agree with Dr. Feldman that a change in weight can easily do this so you should check that. Also should get a good physical to make sure all is well and to review any medications that you might have taken

Can I Get Co2 Fractional Skin Resurfacing if I Already Have Juvederm?

I really need to get something NOW, and have an appt. next week for juvederm for my "smoker's lines". I really want the co2 fractional skin resurfacing done, but my problem is that I don't have the vacation time at work saved up and so I can't get that done until November (10 months from now). I'm just wondering if I have any juvederm left in me by then, would the skin resurfacing ruin it? Should I wait until the juvederm is completely gone? Thanks!

A: juvederm and laser

Firstly, By November you might be ready  to have juvederm again. Secondly, I do not think that the laser will harm what you have left in there.

5 Months After Injection, Still Have Lump from Nasolabial Fold Injection. Could It Be a Granuloma

5 months ago I had Juvederm for naso folds. I wasn't very happy with results, 1 side didn't need as much but I feel he overfilled. When he was injecting that side, on the last injection he pulled out the needle & right away there was a lump at injection site along with more bleeding than any other area. He said it will go down. 10 days later still there, went back in. Dr did nothing. Now 5 mos later, Juve is slightly going away & lump seems more noticeable. How can I tell if it's a granuloma?

A: lump after juvederm

I would;d go back to your doctor and have this evaluated as we can neither see nor feel this. It is possible that it is juvederm and can be dissolved. If it is anything else it might be possible to calm it down with a steroid injection.
