Fillers and plumpers

Plumpers and filers are used in non-surgical facial and body shaping procedures: wrinkle treatment, scar repair, lip augmentation, and sunken cheek repair.  Although Botox is not technically a wrinkle filler, we've included it here because it's often used in conjuction with fillers like Restylane and Juvederm.

Fillers containing collagen or hyaluronic acid are commonly used in anti-aging skin care treatments and for lip augmentation.  Fat transfer and fat injections are occassionally used in lip augmentation as well as plumping up a body area like the buttocks. fat Two of the best known, widely marketed dermal fillers are Restylane and Juvederm.  Both are used to create fuller, plumper lips and to reduce the appearance of fine facial lines and wrinkles.
