I am a female in my mid 20s and have previously suffered from a condition which caused atrophy of my soft tissues on one half of my head area (right temple region, side of head and back of my head just behind my ear) I would be interested in a fat transfer to fill-out these areas which have had minor fat loss, and would like to know my options.
I got fat graft to my forehead and temples in Korea in 2020. Everything looked fine on my right side. However, the left temple was lumpy since day 1, and the lumps are very obvious when I smile. Also the fat above my left forehead has disappeared and there's now a hollow area above my left eyebrow, like a dent in my forehead. Is it possible to fix these problems? Am I able to remove the fat in my left temple, and inject more in the hollow area above my left eyebrow?
Hello, I have never had facial fat transfer before. I have heard some horror stories about fat graft to the nasolabial fold resulting in necrosis to the nose. I just had my rhinoplasty 2 months ago and would like to try fat graft to the mid cheeks and temple area. Are there any risks or side effects like necrosis to the nose with those areas?
Hello! I am 32 years old, 5'5 and 120 pounds. I have hollowing in my temples and lower cheeks. I had two syringes of filler split between the two areas, but some hollowness still remains, and I would like a more permanent solution. Am I a good candidate for a facial fat transfer?
I've previously thought about getting HA fillers in my temples but found out it would be very expensive as I would require a lot of ML and think fat grafting will suit me better. I found a before and after picture online, with the same starting point as well as results that I have/want. My question is. How many ML do you think is used to get this results? How many sessions does it require? How long between each session? PS. I've mailed the surgeon who did this with no response.
Please help - a year ago, today. I had fat grafting to my face. I am very unhappy. My face looks masculine and my face is uneven on my left side I have a lump that is under my temple and my checks are sunk in on that side. Is there any way to fix this. What should my next steps be. Please help.
I am considering fat grafting on the rest of my face, however with filler in temples. Is this a smart move? My concern with fat grafted in temples is if there is too much fat placed, therefore look like Frankenstein (and then it's permanent). At least with filler you can build onto it and have more control. But I will have fat graft in my lower face due to the stem cells. How much does one cc of fat weigh? For fat transfers?
Hi Doctors, I had a total 40cc of fat grafted to my face 1 month ago. It was 10-15cc on each cheek blended with surroundings (in his words), 2-3cc on nasolabial fold, 1cc on the mouth corner, the rest on temples and forehead. My cheeks are fuller than what I want, and my jaw is squarish right now although the doctor didn't put any fat there. My question is, will this continue improving? How much more fat will be absorbed by the body and how can I know if all the swells are gone? Thank you!
Hello, I read a similar question and it has me concerned because I feel I have the same complication. I was told lumps would resolve but they have not. I honestly just want someone to confirm that this is NOT NORMAL AND A COMPLICATION OF SURGERY and whether it can be corrected. i had upper bleph and fat augmentation to eyes and temple
