How can I improve the appearance of the fullness of my cheeks ? Ive had facial fat transfer to the under area and it appears overfilled, Ive had no luck getting back in touch with the surgeon who did it, would steroids or fat dissolving help with this ? 18 months post op.
I developed upper eyelid hollowing due to long term Steroid eyedrop use. In December 2022 I underwent bilateral upper blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. There was not much fat to reposition, so I still have a deep superior Sulcus defect. I will plan to wait one from surgery before pursuing anything. Would a fat transfer be a good idea? Would it be too risky given the proximity of the superior orbital artery?
Hello. Just wondering if there is a problem with either having a facial fat transfer or juvederm fillers if you take steroids (for an autoimmune disorder)? Asking because I think steroids can change the shape of your face sometimes. Thank you.
I had gotten a steroid injection below my chin from a build up of tissue on the end of my scar (from Chin reduction) about 2 months ago. I started to notice an indent on each side of my chin/scar. How can I fix this ? Will the indent go away? Can I fix this with fat transfer? I want it to be permanent. I want it to be a smooth surface.
In my early 20s I suffered from dermatitis on my eyelids and was prescribed hydrocortisone cream 0.5%. I was never told about steroids & skin. I used it very intermittently over a 3 year period when I had a flare up, which normally went away in a few days. I noticed a few years ago that I had slightly overhanging skin on my eyes and had one session of fraxel to correct it. It worked well. My only question is now is is it possible that the cream could have caused fat atrophy? How likely is this?
I have steroid atrophy on my forehead after long-term use of Elocon. What would be the best procedure to smooth out my skin and return its elasticity. How can I get rid of the striae? I asked my GP about skin graft and fat transfer but they said that my skin tone would turn out uneven. I have also been looking into ReCell - could this help?
I have fat grafting under my eyes on July 20th. I'm 4months post op. After one month one of my eyes went down and looked regular however the other eye left a bag. After a few months I had 3 series of steroid injections to deflate it however still left with a bag. They took a diff approach and injected it with a hydraulic acid filler and OMG my eye looks worse. 1 day post op from the filler and It's even more puffy and I'm so sad because I'm only 21. This is horrible what should I do?
Seeing Doctor in a month to ask as well :-) happy overall I had a variety of procedures including literally perfect fat grafting to breasts, this bump under eye is a bummer, anything I can do at home to help? I think my doc is going to do the steroid injections when I see him, but if I can do anything at home in the meantime that wold be great
