6 months ago i got a fat cut injection to my lower face. 10 weeks after i noticed a hypopigmented dent appear along my right jaw line. The skin felt thin and 'old'. The clinic said that this was the steroid in the fat cut, and that it would resolve. I had it filled with filler twice. However, for the past 4 months it has had blueish discolouration. It feels like the flesh attached to my jaw is gone in this spot. Why is it blue, will this go away? Photos do not do justice of its bluenes
Hello! I was always insecure about my undereye dents. They are hereditary so no matter what I do the hollows remain. I was recommended to do fat grafting but I am concerned that the procedure might leave me with bumps, lumps of fat and irregularities. I am not sure about complications. The skin is really thin in that place and looks darker. It feels like I have no fat at all there, the difference between eye and cheek are is drastic. I am scared of fillers and possible migrations. Thanks!
I have been looking to try and correct a depression that occurs above my brow ridge for a while. It almost looks like a cross in some photos. What would be preferred: facial fat transfer, filler (with use of ultrasound / vein finder) as it's high risk area or the use of methyl methacrylate dough to correct the dent? Any advice is welcome. It's something I've naturally had but it's gotten worse over the years. I just want a smooth forehead I feel like it makes me look very masculine.
I got fat graft to my forehead and temples in Korea in 2020. Everything looked fine on my right side. However, the left temple was lumpy since day 1, and the lumps are very obvious when I smile. Also the fat above my left forehead has disappeared and there's now a hollow area above my left eyebrow, like a dent in my forehead. Is it possible to fix these problems? Am I able to remove the fat in my left temple, and inject more in the hollow area above my left eyebrow?
I have this dent in my forehead that I've had for the past several years (not sure if it got worse after an injury to the head or not) but I'd like to get it removed. I don't want to keep using temporary fillers. Would fat transfer fix this dent? I'm also considering a forehead implant but I don't know if it would be too extreme.
I have been dissolving old filler 2 months ago and now left with dents on my cheeks. I also had Restylane done last month, it didn't help to fill the dents but even caused malar bags. I am looking for a solution to fill dents and hide malar bags
I have atrophic dents in my upper cheek/tear trough after Kenalog 5 injections to treat a foreign-body granuloma (histologic diagnosis) caused by Juvederm Voluma. The Kenalog was injected 12 mnths ago. Some of the surgeons and derms I have seen warmly recommended fat grafts and stated that complications are rare & largely technique-dependent, while others vehemently discouraged me by listing horrible complications. What is your experience? Or should I try a less cross-linked HA filler instead?
This dent is about a square inch right in the middle of my forehead. If feels like the bone is actually dented and not just fat atrophy. It's very embarrassing and I already consulted a plastic surgeon and he was thinking about doing a fat transfer but decided not to do it because he said it could cause blindness. He is a relatively new doctor so I'm hoping someone with more experience might have some more options for me. Thanks so much! I'm really hoping there is something that can be done.
