Hello, I had a deep plane facelift, coronal brow lift, and lower lid blepharoplasty nearly one year ago. I know everyone is different, but, for me, the healing process has been extremely painful and slow. I still feel like I have a tight vice around my neck and have pain and swelling along the incision sites. Everything feels extremely tight and I believe it looks this way as well. My quality of life has suffered tremendously. My question is: What can I do and will this end?
Hello, I had a full facelift, brow lift, fat graft, lipo in my chin. It is almost 13 months post op and I am still tight around my chin and ears and numb all over my face, chin and ears. I look great but worried that tightness and numbness will never go away. Please tell me if I can do anything to help the heeling. Thank you very much.
I am a young 27 year old male who has soft loose elastic skin on my face and body. I have been exploring Facelifts and Renuvion, but am concerned that my skin will revert back to the way it is now in the future, even after a facelift. When I pull my skin tight like how it would be done with a facelift, it gives my jawline the definition I want and firm tightness. I was 195 lb max weight so there was 'some' fluctuation but I was not severely obese. (Im 155 lb now) .
6 months ago, I had a Full Facelift, Dual Plane Brow Lift, Lower Lid Blepharoplasty, neck plication with liposuction and CO 2 laser skin resurfacing peel. Also, my earlobes were modified and attached to my cheek bones area. I look great and very natural. However, I still have a lot of tightness in my neck and ears. My face and neck get red, hot and tacky. Is it normal? What can I do to speed up the recovery? Thank you very much
Its been 18months since full face, neck, and brow lift to lift eyelids. I am in enormous distress, from tightness and numbness and a burning sensation under my skin. My head and scalp feels like in a vice. I have had MRI and cat scan to head. Nothing seems to show up. My life has become very small and I fear for myself. Please, any advise and to what possible cause for what I am experiencing would be helpful. I am now 68 years, are generally healthy and outgoing.
I look great six months after my neck/Lower facelift, very natural, etc. in fact, the results looked great pretty quickly. However, Im still feeling tight in my neck and ears. Is it abnormal? I have (only very occasionally) had that strangling feeling in my neck. However, thats uncommon, and again, the results look so good many people I dont even know want to go to this doctor!
i had temple/cheek/lower face lift 6 weeks ago. yesterday i fell skiing, going fairly fast. my right knee ran quite hard into my chin a bit to the right, i felt the jolt in my teeth. i didn't fall on my face. right side of my face feels a bit tight, like few weeks ago when it was still bruised. should i be worried that the fall messed up the face lift in any way? is the incision all healed up? i don't see any swelling or bruising on my face, not even below my chin where my knee ran into.
I am 3 weeks Post Op. My Doctor said I could return to bike riding & exercise. Because my neck still feels really tight & swollen, I am hesitant to ride as it requires major head turning. Will leaning forward on my handle bars & possibly turning my head quickly from side to side damage my neck & lower facelift in any way? I also dance with lot of twirling partner's arms overhead. Not sure how comfortable I am returning to biking, twirling and yoga. I appreciate your thoughts on when I can return to
Dancing is a big part of my life, including a style which includes a lot of bending and head swirling (Zouk). I've read a lot of posts on the forum about swelling and general tightness after a face lift, some of which has lasted a considerable amount of time. How long after a face and neck lift would I be able to get back to dancing ?Would there be any residual tightening that would make this difficult?
