Im still just in my late 30s so perhaps too young and not yet a candidate for a facelift. But Im bothered by this fold or hollow or crease I have under my left eye area, around the apple of my cheek. I have done under eye fillers in the past, years ago though. I also did voluma in my cheekbones twice. But I dont know why I have this weird ridge/crease thing and my doctor doesnt offer me any solutions. Is this possibly correctable?
I'm a 51 y/o female, 5'3, 142lbs. Ive had cheek, nasolabial fold, and lip fillers previously. None of these made a satisfactory change in my downturned mouth or sagging skin. I want to lift the mouth creases and even out the lip fullness. One side of my face appears higher than the other from the nostril down. I'd like to get that corrected too. I'd prefer to invest in a long lasting procedure but there are so many options out there. Where do I start?
Hello there. As I get older my mental crease deepens. As per the anatomy of the mental crease, a deep crease can be congenital, however as it deepens over time, it does this in a way that the lower lip has less upward support, so the lower lip kind of falls downwards hence the deepening of the mental crease. NOT interested in fillers. I am wondering if there are ANY type of lifting procedures that can specifically address making the mental crease less deep by lifting the lower lip upward
I've had some major changes to my face over the past months after a facial injury. The main differences, even though hard to see in photos, is slight sagging. My face went from a top heavy oval shape to a more boxy oval. I have watched as the tissues have dropped. This seems to have caused more bottom heavy face, a deepening of the mental crease, lengthening of my philtrum. I was wondering of saging of the midface/lower cheeks can cause influences on the lips, philtrum, and mental crease?
Hello, I had a face/brow lift and double chin removal four weeks ago and I now have a crease on my cheek. My doctor has reccomended PRP to fix it this week but I would greatly appreciate any second opinion if any one out there has had experience fixing this type of facial pleating problem Thank you!
10 weeks post op and from day one this crease has been on the left side of my face, running from sideburn down to left corner of mouth. It is less exaggerated now than in week one, but it is still there. Is this common? Does this eventually go away? (photo attached)
I know her lips are natural, but I was wondering, is it possible to get surgery to make that crease in the center of the lip? What would need to be done, like maybe lip reduction but only in the center?
Im not sure if its hereditary, an allergy, deficiency, or something else, but Ive had deep creases across my cheek for a long time. They even seem to be present in my baby photos. They run from the inner corner of my eye to mid cheek. Sometimes they are so pronounced that people mistake them for a scar. Is there any way to permanently make these less obvious (surgical or non-surgical)?
