A mini face lift has left me with scarring. Flat, white and wide in my hair line,jn front of and behind do my eats. I cannot wear my hair up or put my hair behind my ears ad they are very visable. Why has this happened?
I am 3 weeks post facelift surgery. I am confused about how to best treat the scabs that remain on the tragus. I have short hair so they are apparent and the sooner they heal the more comfortable I will be. It would appear that medical opinions vary on realself. One school of thought suggests vaseline whilst the other opinion is after bathing, pat dry and leave. Just want to do the right thing. I am currently self conscious when I am out. Thank you in anticipation.
My wife had a face lift three weeks ago. After first week, returned to Dr's office, he noticed abnormal swelling on Lower cheek that was hard and bruised about 3cm x 4cm in size) it swelled out about an inch from the rest of her cheek. Was told to do nothing about it. Stated that the hematoma should go down and not to worry about it. My wife dosent want a picture taken, due to the size of the swelling. All I am asking if this is normal. Im just trying to get info and help her out...Thanks
My smile is crooked and it has been 23 days post face and neck lift etc. None of the other patients where I was had this happen and they all had face and neck lifts. I can only see a mild improvement in the last couple weeks. Pic one is from about 6 days post op,,pic 2 is today. What is the cause and how long until it gets better? Thanks so much for your help>
It has been 3 weeks since I had facelift as part of removing the cyst on my face. I experienced severe hematoma after the surgery, but it seems that everything is healing as expected. I'm concerned about the bruises, since they still look very dark in some areas. The swelling on my cheek and jaw still a bit noticeable and feel so tense. Should I be alarmed? what can I do to better the situation? Thank you for your answer.
I know it's still early, and I have talked with my surgeon, but I would just like another opinion. I'm 3 weeks out from a facelift and neck lipo. I am still swollen and very tight, understandably, but I'm mostly concerned with what I call the bicycle tire around my neck. My surgeon advised that I do some massage and just be patient. But when I look online I mostly see platysmal bands, not these horizontal lumps. Is this normal?
I had a facelift/neck lift 3 weeks ago. My right earlobe suture came out last Wednesday, my Dr stitched my whole ear up again, removed the stitches approx 5 days later, this Wed & today (Sat) after showering my lobe was bleeding and is not attached any better. I don't smoke, no issues that would effect healing. Problem, wound care, I had a bad reaction to Polysporin so am asking for suggestions for wound care and how to get this ear to heal as fast as possible. Just use Vaseline?
apparently my saliva gland was reacting to the surgery and was over working so had to have this drained up until 31st December. Had to go back in to have middle suture removed to ease the paralysis about two weeks post op. Im now 19 days post op but my face seems to be dropping more and speech getting harder
I am 3 weeks Post Op. My Doctor said I could return to bike riding & exercise. Because my neck still feels really tight & swollen, I am hesitant to ride as it requires major head turning. Will leaning forward on my handle bars & possibly turning my head quickly from side to side damage my neck & lower facelift in any way? I also dance with lot of twirling partner's arms overhead. Not sure how comfortable I am returning to biking, twirling and yoga. I appreciate your thoughts on when I can return to
