I have very uneven eyelids along with very different tear duct shapes. Not sure what my options are. I would like to keep my lid space as Im a makeup artist and its very important to me. I just hate the asymmetry and all the creases. Id love one good deep crease on each eye rather than multiple weird creases that arent even. As far as the tear ducts go, it seems as if one is covered with skin and the other is open. My ideal eye shape would be something like Famke Janssen.
I have symmetric eyes and I am wondering if this is ptosis? My eyes appear asymmetric in pictures, with my left eye sometimes appearing smaller when I smile, and it has begun to really annoy me. I think the issue is with the lower lid of one of my eyes, as my tear ducts don't seem to align (left duct looks higher). Is this ptosis? If not, what could it be? Would ptosis or eyelid surgery help correct this? I do wear contacts, if that helps.
In December, I had a chalazion removed by an eye specialist. It was a pea sized hard lump on one of my upper eyelids near my tear duct. It never hurt. Did the compresses and used a cream prescribed. Even had a follow-up. When I touch/apply makeup to where the lump was, I get an uncomfortable tenderness there. It lasts a while and gives me headache symptoms I can't ignore. Usually I use eye drops or use a compress it goes away. It's just the one eye hence me not thinking it's dry eyes from screens.
I had an upper bleph three weeks ago (22 days out). I experienced significant swelling in my tear duct area (especially on the right side) My right eye now appears to have webbing on the inner corner. I was given antibiotic drops but havent seen any improvement in two weeks.I also appear to have webbing forming in both eyes but more so on the right (which also looks smaller). Is it possible my plastic surgeon injured my tear duct by cutting too far in? Will I need an eventual revision?
I have bad allergies and if i dont rub them they burn awfully. I wore contacts for a while but I didnt like pulling my eyelids down to get them in so I stopped after a month or two. The eyes are even but from the tear ducts down to the lower eyelid my right side seems to droop more. I want it fixed but my peers think I am just crazy. Will proper sleep and discontinuing lenses and itching help alleviate the droopiness?
When i pinch the skin on the bridge of my nose, the over laying skin by tear ducts dissappear is it possible to do a skin pinch on the bridge of my nose to resolve this issue?
I have noticed recently that my eyes are not quite level and this shows a lot in photos. I have lost quite a bit of fat in my body and unfortunately it shows on my face as well. Which is why I've started to notice this problem. I am aware of the uneven fat storage under my eyes, which has always been the case. There's moredeepness under my left eye than the right eye. Maybe that is the reason one eye looks lower than the other, specially at the tear duct region?
