Post op six months from upper and lower bleph, fat repositioning, skin pinch and muscle tightening. I still have noticeable tear troughs/. I look almost identical to my pre op pics when compared. I still look tired and am embarrassed as there are little fat bulges where he repositioned the fat on my lower lids. He also stated that we only have so much fat to work with under the eye and that is all he had to work with. Now he is suggesting fillers in order to make the tear trough look better.
Will i ever see results, i am so confused..I was told that was what they were going to do...But he did from the inside and i am still having droopy eyelids, I just wonder if that procedure was the right one
I am 46 years old and researching doctors and procedures for droopy eye lids. I had a first opinion and was told that my lids are affecting my vision and a bleph is needed. For the procedure, the doctor stated that the muscles will be tightened and stitches which will be removed 11 days later. That concerns me since Im reading 5-7 is normal? Ive checked out everything on the doctor and its all good but should I seek a 2nd opinion?
I am 26 and my lower eyelids have got really bad in the last two years. It is hereditary, both my parents have bad eye bags. I had restylane done two years ago and I didnt like the results, I had greyish skin and lumps developed months after the injection. Do you think lower bleph with fat repositioning/ muscle tightening would help? I do have a bit of herniated fat. I definetely dont want to have dermal fillers again.
Although I know faces are rarely symmetrical, Moles (now removed), one ear tucked behind more than the other etc. I have one major issue...drooping of the lower, inner part of the eyelid (my right) As an actor I've learned to slightly squint my right eye on camera so it's less noticeable, but wondered this could be fixed, I've looked into treatments for 'droopy' eyes but it all seems aimed at the elderly which is a totally different problem. What could be done?
My understanding of ptosis is that the problem is lax muscle(s) and the correction is a tightening of that muscle, is that correct? I know there are eyelid and face exercises available (with differing opinions on effectiveness) and it seems to me that strengthening the muscles could fix this lax muscle issue. What type of exercise might be effective for ptosis?
My doctor wants to perform blepharoplasty by only tightening my upper eyelid muscle, by going through the underside of my upper eyelid. I cannot find anything like this in he internet. Does this procedure sound like it is saf and/or possible?
