Post 3 months revision bleph + Internal Ptosis Correction. Excessive skin @ lateral side or eyes just hooded + eyelash concern? Hi, I've had revision surgery about 3 months ago to lower my crease and correct my mild ptosis. I am still cornered about the hooded appearance of the lateral part of my eyes. I am just wondering if the reason for this sagging, downward appearance is contributed to the hooded nature of my low-set eyebrows or the presence of excessive skin. Additionally, my eyelashes are still downward-pointing especially on my right eye. Eyelash curler, lash lift do not seem to correct it well. What can I do?
I had a revision eyelid surgery and ptosis surgery about 2 months ago. I am happy about everything except my eyelashes. They are still downward pointed and I would like them to be more lifted. I know there are non-surgical options like lash curlers and chemical lash lifts. However, lash curlers are extremely hard to use for my face as I have prominent brow one and extremely hooded eyes, and chemical lash lifts only semi-permenantley changes the curl pattern, not the growth pattern, of the lashes
Hello I had an upper Bleph 11 months ago. It looks great! At first I noticed my lashes seemed to loose their curl and were straight . Now I noticed they are very short. Prior to the Bleph they were long and curled up. Will they ever grow back? Is there a procedure to fix this problem?
Around 1 month ago I was having issues with my eye. It was watering, very sensitive & my eyelid was less open than usual. I went to see a specialist & they removed 3 ingrown eye lashes. Soon after this, the watering issues etc went away. My eyelid has opened up a bit more, but has not returned to how it was , making it slightly droopy , which was never like this before. Do you know why this could be? Or how long before eyelid returns to normal position..?
I have had like for a while very normal eyes eyelashes and the eyelid was visible and like last year it started to droop and the eyelashes fell out iv been using eyelash serums nothing works and i was wondering also if I was a candidate for eyelid surgery and a brow lift for a wide eye appearance
I had incisional upper blepharoplasty about a little over 4 months ago and I unsatisfied with how high the crease is (6mm). Ideally, I would like : 1. my crease to be lowered to 4.5mm. 2. I also would want to tuck in my tarsal platform so my eyelashes could lift and the outer shape of my eyes be in an inverted v-shape. 3. Slight exposure of the tarsal platform I was made aware that crease lowering is really unpredictable, but given my situation, are my goals for revision high risk?
Hi, I went to my optometrist and he noticed my lower lashes poking my eye and how it grows inward. This has been a constant problem that I have to pluck them because they really do grow straight up blocking my vision. He said it will be covered by insurance since this is a medical issue so wanted to make sure if this was true? Should a plastic surgeon perform this for me? He also said it's common was Asians to have this problem. Thanks!
My upper eyelid margin is very thick and prominent. This often makes me look tired or as though my eyelid is flipped. I know many people have a tiny bit of space there and will tightline with eyeliner, but I feel like my case is much more apparent. I've attached an image showing how my eyes look (1) without makeup (2) without makeup and the space highlighted in red (3) with makeup. Are there any surgical or non-surgical procedures that can be done to reduce this? Thank you!
I had a Lower Blepharoplasty 7 months ago, results were ok like in the 1st picture, swelling happened with muscle roll under the eyelashes like in the 2nd picture, my surgeon did a 2nd Lower Blepharoplasty surgery 2 weeks ago but the same issue with fat or another type of bulging issue is still present, muscle roll was reduced at the expense of heavy creasing under the eyelashes, my experience with the 1st op and seeing exactly the same issues in the same places again tells me something is wrong
Also, Ive never tried Latisse and have sensitive skin/dry eyes. Ive only heard of Latisse & this will be my first time trying it. If there are other brands you suggest, or any tips/warnings on how to use an eyelash growth product, please let me know! Im hoping I can use it because after going through the eye surgery, Im dreaming of also having pretty eyelashes! Thanks so much!
