I have congenital tear trough deformity with dark circles. Also recently I have been having more issues with drooping eyelids, genetic as well. I would like to get these addressed. I look sleepy and tired all the time, and now my eyelids are starting to be an actual problem.
Im (35f) seeking information regarding the risks and treatment for transconjunctival blepharoplasty. Ive been advised risks are much lower, however, if entropian or malposition occurs in early recovery (3 weeks), can they be mitigated with massage and exercises? Would that be advised? Is it possible that these things would only occur temporarily due to lid tightness? How likely is it is that a complication of this type would be permanent? Thank you!
I've consulted with 3 oculoplastic surgeons and 1 aesthetic nurse injector and all but 1 of the oculoplastic surgeons said I'm a candidate for lower bleph + fat repositioning. One of them suggested I wait until I'm 40 (I'm 36 now), and that I was not a candidate for him yet. I would love to hear more opinions. I want to make sure this procedure is right for me before I pull the trigger and either have another consultation or schedule the surgery.
I am a very active, healthy and accomplished 42 year old. My whole life I have been what I believe to be unattractive. I have made small changes to my eyelids and nose but as I age it is definitely not enough. I need a completely honest review of everything I should have done if, in an ideal world, I was able to in order to achieve some semblance of attractiveness. Thank you!
40 year old, I did lower blepharoplasty. Now at 7 weeks after. Unfortunately since the operation my lower left eye does not heal. There is a reddish bump that do not disappear and become even more swelled if I got warm. Not sure what went wrong at operation and what to do.
I am a female in my late 30s. I am so disheartened by the results from my lower blepharoplasty. I am very confused as to why my surgeon made the decision to remove fat from my lower lid. I probably only needed skin removed to rejuvenate my appearance. I am trying to figure out what I can do to resolve my now much worse issue with my lower lids. They are sunken and now when I smile I have a big gap between my lower lid and my cheek. I dont want to make the situation worse. Cheek lift? Fat tsfer?
I'm 38 years old and for years my eyelids have been uneven. My left eyelid has always been slighty bigger than the right eyelid. It has worsened with age and appears worse when I'm tired. My right eyelid has always appeared to have more lax skin above it. What procedure(s) could make my eyelids more symmetrical.
I'm 39 and have almond eyes and some positive canthal tilt. I have high broad cheekbones and prominent brow ridge. My eyes have become more hooded with the years but doesn't bother me as I read is a good feature in men. My concern is lower eyelid. I've always had dark circles probably from genetics and allergy. I wanted to know if I would see an improvement from blepharoplasty or is not worth it in my case. I barely have fine lines I think
Hello - I am a 40 yo female looking for eye rejuvenation. I have some hooding in my upper lids and hallowing on the lower lid. Am i good candidate for an upper bleph and under eye filler? I am concerned about the safety of the under eye filler since i've heard so many horror stories. I'm also concerned about possible scarring for the upper bleph due to my skin tone. Are these concerns valid?
