It's been two years since I had Blepharoplasty, my eyes are both red/purple. I have to use concealer every day to cover them. I'm so annoyed. I hate the way my eyes turn out. What can I do to fix this?
I had an operation on the upper eyelids about two years ago, and the scars have grown and are still visible, and the scar on the right eyelid is bothering me, where the scar is not only visible, but also raised a little and harder to the touch, therefore the right upper eyelid seems to be a shade larger than the left eyelid. I am not what to do, so I need professional advice in solving this problem?
I had a blepharoplasty about 2 years ago and the outer corners of my eyes have these downward creases. They don't seem natural and are lower than the other corner of my eye. I have kept hoping they would just go away as more time went by, but now I'm wondering if I need to get a consultation with another eyelid surgeon to get these corrected. I've pointed these out to my surgeon and they don't seem to think there is anything unusual about them. To me, they look really strange
I had an upper blepharoplasty in December of 2021 by an oculoplastic surgeon, and am still experiencing complications. The result is uneven, but I am experiencing swelling on one eyelid that sometimes subsides throughout the day, but oftentimes persists. The surgeon told me that its no cause for concern and to reduce the amount of salt I consume (and I have), but I used to model for work and this has severely affected my ability to work consistently. Please help.
Had primary blepharoplasty 2 yrs ago. Over time, my eyes look wonky. Wasnt like this before. Not just the eyelid that is uneven, the eye itself especially when smiling looks very different. As you can see the right one opens up weirdly and looks more round than the left one is with lower crease. What is the procedure to fix this and make them even, almond shaped like my original ones even when smiling? I look deranged in some photos.
Hello. am left with upper blepha scars i had 2 years ago; high, red, visible and atrophic.Had several treatments in the past 2 years ( first revision no improvement , injection of hylarionic acid, Plexr and two sessions of erbium laser but cannot see any improvement). One dr asked me to stop the laser as it will only make the scars red,so i did. He suggested carboxytherapy and vascular laser & another dr. suggested phenol peeling of the eyelid? I am lost. What treatment shall i go for ? thnx
Hello I need an expert surgeon on upper eyelid scar revision. I had an upper eyelid surgery 2 years ago and complications occurred. Severe scarring in right eye and unsightly. When I use a pair of tweezers and I can grab eyelid skin and still close my eye. How do I know if there is enough skin to revise. I just visited a surgeon who said I don't have enough skin but with eyes closed I can use tweezers and grab skin and my eye stays closed no problem. How do I know if I have enough skin?
I am so sad. I did an eyelid surgery 2 years ago and I regret it so much. My eyes turned out very uneven. One is normal and the other one is after the surgery smaller and more oblong. It looks so weird and worse than before. How is this possible that the complete shape of the eye changed and it became smaller? What should I do now? Before my eyes look way better I am really desperate :(
Ive had a blepharoplasty (and a revision surgery) to correct ptosis in one eye. Now, nearly 2 years since both surgeries, it has left me with an extra skin fold. The scar itself seems to cause the skin above to fold over. Ive asked my surgeon and she said to keep massaging it and there is no further surgical or non-surgical action I can take. However, another surgeon said I need another blepharoplasty to cut the excess skin out; while another claims filler can fix it. Help?
