Hello! I am a 30 year old woman who had upper lid blepharoplasty and lateral orbital rim shaving done about ten years ago. These procedures were done through incisions in my upper eyelid creases. I do not like the current appearance of my upper eye area. It appears deflated/saggy, since bone and fat was removed. Are there any options to improve the look of my eyelid/brow area? I was told fat transfer would be unpredictable in restoring fullness. Thank you.
Bleph (10 years ago) took too much skin. Eyes look smaller, deeper set, and darker (light from above doesn't reflect off cornea, aesthetically significant because reflected spot of light adds attractiveness). Corners too tight, can't look up. Front of eyelid loose & puckery. Vision changes (needed glasses after bleph). Here are pictures of what I think happened. Is it possible to reverse the many problems? Maybe tissue expansion at corners, and/or fat? Thanks!
I had transconjunctival-blepharoplasty 13 years ago and I've been very happy with my results, even though the right eye was still a bit puffy the surgeon said he couldn't take any more fat out from that eye. But this past week, I notice a the right eye ONLY seems more puffy again. I thought it was allergies and have been taking allergy medication for the last few days, but it hasn't helped. Is it possible for fat to come back to the lower lids?
About 10 years ago, I had upper bleph. I was never happy with the results, it seems that not enough skin was taken off. I've seen a doctor here in Las Vegas that said it's hard to do cause there is scar tissue. Can it be corrected with another surgery?
I had the procedure done and covered by my insurance company approximately 10 years ago. One eyelid is significantly drooping although I know that this will have to be documented by a visual field, is there usually any leniency if this surgery has been done before? Thank you.
