9 days post op upper and lower blepharoplasty. I am not happy with appearance so far. I think too much skin and fat was removed from upper, but my main concern is that both my upper lids feel very tight when I look up or to either side. I have discussed my concerns with the surgeon but he is adamant that I am healing great and he is confident that I do not have ptosis and with time I will be able to open my eyes more freely. Please tell me your thoughts. Thank you
I am 13 days post op. Mild inner webbing too. I am devastated. I feel too much skin was taken medially and not enough at the outer side. Scars dont run past outside of eye. The skin taken has made a hollow that makes the overhang look worse. My eyes were lovely and i fear Ive ruined them.I think Im a difficult as my eyes were good before and I wanted just a tweak. I had strange eyes that if tired could look so puffy/saggy but if not they were near perfect (a little excess always present left side).
9 days ago I went to a highly recommended plastic surgeon for under eye filler in my tear trough area to correct under eye circles. I thought during the consult he told me that he would use Restalyne for the procedure. When I received an email afterwards from the office it stated Juvederm Vollure XC was used.It is now 9 days post injections and I have morning puffiness and an all day heavy feeling under my eyes. The results look good, but they feel SO HEAVY and puffy. Will this go away?
I had an upper eyelid surgery, which I didnt want—I wanted a brow lift as a vicious attack, which left me for dead, caused nasty injuries (broken bones, lacerations), and left me with a lower left brow. I have had my share of scars on my face, and I feel that I dont scar well. Im wondering if those holes along the incision are going to be permanent. My eyes now look so old. I am so sick to my stomach. One more trauma to add to the list. Dissolving stitches.
I had revision blepharoplasty 10 days ago to remove a little extra skin on the left side. I know it's early only 10 days but the crease is now higher. The Dr said it would look the same only the extra skin removed. I'm really nervous that it won't look the same as the other eye. I don't for see the crease dropping. It also give the appearance of a lazy and seems unnatural. For reference he is an oculoplastic surgeon.
One eye looks significantly different than the other, and I'm not sure either is looking very well. I'm trying not to panic that I ruined my face. I acknowledge that I had slight asymmetry before but this goes beyond. I also acknowledge that I'm 10 days post-op and I understand there is still swelling but this doesn't seem right. I really like my surgeon, he did great work on a body procedure on me earlier this year but this is too much.
10 days after upper bleph and tightening, especially to right eye, everything is fine except for vision. Vision in each eye is okay independently, but often my right eye seems to be not working together with my left eye resulting in double vision, impairment of my depth perception and some loss of peripheral vision on the right side. Should this be expected to improve? Are there exercises to help this?
I had 4 lid bleph 9 days ago with laser resurfacing under eyes. Now that the crusty skin has fallen off I am left with two dark pink circles. Should I use lightening treatment or just Acquaphor to soften the skin? How long before it clears up and I can judge bleph results on lower and upper lids? I see a small line under one eye that looks like a partial bag was left, might just be from the laser burn. Does that sound normal? See 1st pic. Next post op is a month away but doc says so far so good.
