I had dysport injected for the first time (never have used Botox either) on Tuesday morning at 8:30 am. Its now Sunday at 1:30 pm and I can still fully scrunch my face. No change at all. At first my skin felt tight and now it feels totally normal. I had it done for frown lines between my eyes and crows feet. I dont know how many units were used but I believe it was only 1 syringe. Was it not enough to make a difference? Does it take longer for first timers to see results?
I had Dysport injected for my glabella lines and along my brows one week ago. There has been very little effect yet, I still have full movement in my eyebrows. I know that I could possibly see some improvement for another week still, but if I don't, am I able to request a switch to Botox at my follow up appointment? Can the two products be combined? Both Dysport and Botox have the same price per unit here, which confuses me, since I've now read (after my treatment) that Dysport needs more.
I had dysport injected Wednesday at about 4. I'm not seeing any changes. Nothing between my eyes. I can still scrunch my forehead. I only see one spot which is by my crows feet, close to the scalp, it's smooth. I hope I didn't waste my money.
Thank you for your time and insight. I received 50 units of Dysport injected into the 5 points across the lower forehead to alleviate frown lines. 10 days later, the impact was minimal; therefore, I received an additional 15 units . The 15 were concentrated on the left side which is where the most severe line is. After receiving a total of 75, i have significant movement in my eyebrows with very little effort, and can actively frown. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Respectfully Lia
My skin does not feel tight, am still able to fully wrinkle and frown. This is my first time and nothing looks any different and definitely nothing like the pictures I see on here. I feel like I was scammed. I did read something about fresh vs expired units. Do you think she may have used an opened bottle so the effects arent that great? Im really dissapointed. Are there any tips I should know the next time I go to keep watch for so I dont waste my money again.
The dermatologist said she goes by area not units .Can I get more injections or do I have to be miserable and wait? I had 5 injections not sure how much dysport it was. From lines are still bad. Unfortunately I had it done on vacation in a different state so can't go back to same dermatologist.
