I had used Botox (amazing response) for a short while then changed to Dysport. I had some reaction to the Dysport..severe headache and neck ache blurred vision and some nausea. This lasted a good two weeks. Also, the end of my eyebrow is raised up. I had non of these reactions with Botox. Can I switch back to Botox for future treatments or to address the raised eyebrow issue? I wasnt sure if they were that similar. Thank you for your assistance.
I was injected with 100 units of dysport in my forehead. My 3rd time ever receiving an injection. The injector did not wait the full 12 weeks between my second and 3rd injection. I feel I've been badly overdosed. My symptoms include dizzy spells, nausea, stiffness through body, muscle weakness, migranes, head pressure, fatigue and ear pressure. It's been a full 6 months from my last injection. I've seen multiple doctors, had labs and scans - all of which are normal.
Hello, The first two weeks I have experienced headaches and nausea .On the left appeared elliptical spot diameter of about 3 cm and above drop zone .It seems that the material spread down to the cheek area. On the right side appeared little edema which appears highlighted in the image. The wrinkles are gone but I'm afraid to make a further injection when the time comes that the situation could worsen .Is it possible, and I am sensitive to this matter and it would be better to use Botox
Could this be related to the Dysport or is it pure anxiety? This is my first time. How long does the drug stay in your system and does it travel through your bloodstream or anywhere that could cause nauseated feelings? I just need reassurance as I only had a small amount but I have read bad things on the internet.
I received Dysport yesterday for the first time. Last night I experienced flu like symptoms, headache and nausea. Now a mild fever and rash. I have read that it is a rare occurance, but that you can get a rash from Dysport, particularily if you have an automimmune disease. I do have Hashimoto's disease. I went to a very respected and prominent dermatologist that has told me to see an internist that it cannot be from the Dysport. My internist thinks it is from the Dyport. Any recommendations?
Two days after dysport had flu symptoms: fatigue, headache, nausea, weakness. The headache lasted for two weeks. I had a severe dizzy spell, and lost my ability to walk without falling left. I went to the ER had MRI, cat scan to neck and head. Two days later I had numbness in my right leg. Went to the ER for evaluation and an MRI of the spine. All tests negative. I developed severe low back pain. My PCP believes this is a reaction to dysport. I still have some pain and numbness. Can walk now.
