Thank you for your question! I understand your concern, however peeling skin is not a typical response to microneedling.&nbsp;It is possible for the skin to flake or be dry afterward. It may take 3-4 sessions of microneedling to start seeing results as the skin begins to rebuild itself. Sometimes a chemical peel is performed after the microneedling treatment as well. As for the acne scarring, particularly depressed scars, microneedling is an effective treatment option because the needles break down the skin and then through the body's natural healing process the collagen gets rebuilt, smoothing out the surface of the skin. I would discuss your concerns with your provider!&nbsp;

I have had two microneedling sessions for acne scarring with a registered practitioner. My face was very red after each session and I used CU3 Vaseline for the first few days. In my research into this procedure everyone seems to refer to the skin peeling after a few days and their noticing positive results. My skin has not peeled at all and I can see no improvement in my acne scarring, even for those scars that are moderately shallow. Is this because of the lack of peeling? Your thoughts please

Microneedling..no peeling. Is that a good thing?

Thank you for your question! Microneedling is an effective treatment for signs of aging due to the sun such as fine lines and wrinkles by promoting collagen production and new cell growth. This gives the face a fresher, smoother and younger-looking appearance. Skin pigmentation can also be addressed by microneedling, but depending on the severity you may be a good candidate for a laser treatment called Three For Me. The first step is an&nbsp;IPL&nbsp;treatment that addressses skin discoloration (freckles, age&nbsp;spots, brown spots) and facial veins. The second part of the treatment boosts collagen production using microbeam laser technology. We recommend up to three Three for Me treatments and up to 5 mincroneedling sessions. Consult with a board-certified dermatologist to decide which treatment (or combination) will work best for you.&nbsp;

Does microneedling help with sun spots and sun damage?

Hello and thank you for your question!&nbsp;No, it is not possible for your nose to grow from fillers, however what you may be experiencing is an optical illusion created as we age because the surrounding facial tissue looses collagen and flattens or pulls back. I would consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon about your concerns as see what treatments can be done to minimize this issue.&nbsp;

I am two years since cosmetic procedures. 2 years ago I had botox in crows feet once, and filler in nasolabial folds. Both have since worn off. I also had tear trough filler which I had dissolved and I am close to my original anatomy. I had a series of 5 laser genesis and 3 ipl with no adverse effects. What could have caused the tip of my nose to grow like this? Will it return to it's normal size? I always liked my nose but it doesn't look quite the same.

Thank you for your question. I&nbsp;would recommend a consultation with a board-certified physician or dermatologist with plenty of experience using injectables. Botox is a safe first step at treating the deep lines above your lip as Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles and the injected muscle can no longer contract which causes the wrinkles to relax. It may be beneficial to do a combination of treatments such a dermal fillers or laser resurfacing, but Botox&nbsp;can be a good first step!&nbsp;

When I smile I get some horrid lines/creases above my lip. I’m hoping Botox could relax the muscle above my lips to reduce it. I’m 51 so do not expect miracles but this is really bothering me. I’ve attached photos with and without smiling-what do you think? Thank you

For the area of the lower abdomen I would recommend&nbsp;four applicators and it would be considered one treatment. I recommend treating to complete so I would recommend two treatments for the best results. Each treatment would last 25 minutes, with four applicators each time. These treatments would be spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Our pricing varies depending on packages or promotional offers at the time of the consultation. Also during the consultation that is when I would determine if the area required all four applicators or three applicators.&nbsp;

1. If my lower abdomen (see pic) required 4 paddles going across the area would that be considered “one” or “four” treatment areas? And yes I’m aware that you can use more than one paddle at a time. 2. Lastly what would you consider the typical costs and how many 25 min treatments do you think I would need for a noticeable aesthetic result?
