Reasons not to dispute a review:
- Opinions and Personal Experiences: Reviews are personal experiences and the opinion of the author. Unless the review violates our Terms of Service, it will not be removed.
- Factual Disputes: The author certifies that their review represents their own experience. Any claims of libel, defamation or dispute of facts is between the doctor and their patient.
- Mediation: RealSelf does not mediate disputes between doctors and patients.
PLEASE NOTE: Certain freemail providers, including Yahoo! and AOL, will not let you send a dispute from your email address. (Read more about this here) If you are planning to submit a dispute using one of these email providers, please stop and contact your doctor advisor. They will provide you with an alternative method to dispute the review(s). We also recommend saving a copy of your dispute, for your own reference.
