I had a large front tooth surgically removed from my pallet and a bone graft done ready for implant surgery. The site is healing well but Im worried about the fleshy white stuff growing around the stitches I had the work done in Spain and Im not going back for another 2 weeks they advised me to have stitches removed in 10 days. Is this normal healing process or has something gone wrong.
I had 5 implants placed a week ago and everything appeared to be going well and now I am in terrible pain. My jaw is so tender I can barely touch it. It only appears to be one implant area. I remember yawning and felt a very sharp pain as though something had torn. Is it possible that I tore the sutures and dislodged the implant and that is what is causing pain?
I got a sinus lift and an implant placement surgery about a week ago. The swelling of my cheek subsided, but my smile is now crooked. The upper lip on the side of the surgery stays lower than the other side when I smile. I am not experiencing any numbness or tingling, but I do almost feel like the sutures where placed to low and they seem to be pulling the side of my lip down.
I had the remains of a broken tooth removed that had a previous root canal/crown. At the time of extraction, a bone graft was done in preparation for an implant. I am worried that I have either dry socket or a failed bone graft as the pain is still here & the membrane and sutures that were placed fell out on day two (operation was performed just prior to the weekend). Is it a given that the bone graft failed? I have pain & you can see the grafting material is showing. It is my upper left eyetooth.
I got born grafting done and my second implant. After a week some of my sutures have came out and now there are two holes in my upper jaw. I'm not sure if it means I have to get it redone or just stitched back up. I'm very concerned and need some type of reassurance before I go back to my periodontist.
I had apicoectomy for 5 and root canals for my 6 front teeth. It took almost a week for the swelling to go away. But I can feel there is little swelling around my chin I can find the difference. I'm still having stitches the doctor said they are Dissolving sutures. It is almost 3 weeks I was bit wondering how long does it take swelling to go away completely.
