I have porcelain crowns for over 15 years on 7 of my front teeth due to an accident, unfortanely I need to change them. Since this is a process that is going to need alot of money and time, i still have some stains on them. I regularly brush my teeth twice at least 2 minutes and floss them daily at night, but doesn't seems to help. Yes I am a smoker (but started to reduce) and coffee lover. Would a peroxide type of toothpaste help me keep the stains at bay until i get my treatment done?
I have always flossed and brushed religiously. I always get a A+ on hygene from my dentist. In the past couple of weeks, I have had senstitivy in all of my teeth. I have been chewing nicotine gum for a year. I am very good in not chewing and parking the gum. Is this possibly the reason for the sensitivity? How bad is nicotine gum for your teeth and gums?
My boyfriend has a ceramic crown on a front tooth, he is 27 has been smoking for seven years and is a white male but his gums are turning a light black color, what does this mean? They are blackened everywhere except for a little above his teeth
