Are my teeth overbite or do they look like a normal bite? Had a full upper bridge and feel they protrude too much. Maybe because they're longer? Or maybe because my gum surgery made my gums so tight they no longer fall between my teeth? Thoughts?
Broke front tooth 15 yrs ago. Dentist applied composite filling. I've no problems except it's now whiter than the rest and has protruded. I want to first straighten then whiten my teeth. And finally apply a veneer/crown to the broken tooth. I want the least invasive approach. One dentist said (based on an x-ray) I should whiten then root canal and crown the broken tooth before straightening them (invisalign). Another said whiten and straighten my teeth before root canal and crown. Views?
My crown is approx. 2 years old. I did not require a root canal. They do not hurt, are not sore at all...just hard. The opposite side of my mouth had the same procedure and the gums remain normal no protrusion. What would cause my gums to change like this...is it anything serious???
I have slightly protruding teeth, 4 mm (normal is consider at 2 mm). Can dental crowns correct this? I don't want braces so I know the result will not be perfect, but I only want my front teeth to be brought back a little bit. Is this possible with dental crowns?
In August I had 6 crowns placed. After the cement they don't feel uniform, 3 on the right protrude more than the other side, 2nd to front left is at an angle and darker, black v's between my teeth, I can feel the air when I speak, am having problems with stuck food, they get tight then creak and just seem big and wide. I went back to my dentist but no one saw an issue. I return to my dentist next week - am I being overly critical or do I have valid concerns and if so, how best to explain.
I had a root canal done 2 weeks ago and post put in recently. The dentist filled in my tooth and told me at some point I will need a crown. Now at the bottom of the tooth, in the middle, I can see the post sticking out and when I run my tongue over it I can feel it, I would say 1mm of it is sticking out. I called my dentist and asked if it is normal, the receptionist said yes it is normal. But is it really normal?
