Had crowns put on teeth 7-10 about 5 days ago. No problems with temps, but now my bottom tooth keeps hitting the back side of #8. Never had that problem before. Can my crown be adjusted to fix that problem? Will the crown need to be removed and cemented again?
My two front bottom teeth grew in discolored when I was younger, so they have been bonded since childhood. Recently, I got dental crowns on them. I have OCD and was adamant about getting the whitest shade possible that still looked natural. I whitened my teeth before getting the crowns, as well. My dentist was wonderfully helpful. However, I feel I may have taken it too far with the shade because they appear too white compared to the others despite continued whitening of my naturals. Any advice?
the dentist filled the back of the crown so it was not catching when I chew the bottom row of teeth and told me to come back in a month to have the implant removed and done again my question is if i leave it loose as it is going looser by the day will this deteriorate the gum or can i get any problems with gum loss i was under the impression that it should be done A.S.A.P SO it does not do any damage im so worried the tooth is a t the front of my mouth i do have receding gums please help thank you
I had zirconium crowns fitted 6 weeks ago. My bottom teeth are painful/sensitive when chewing.gums are red swollen and bleeding Ive had a good clean with a hygienist but theres been no improvement. Could you advise what you think this is? I had the procedure in turkey. So cannot go and see the Dentist. My own Dentist in the uk has refused to do any work on my teeth!
I have a tooth that has a crown that hits another crown on the bottom teeth. The tooth has a 10 year old root canal which looks good. There is sensitivity in the gums above the tooth to cold and seems to be a slight infection there. I'm wondering if antibiotic treatment would clear this up along with fixing the bite. I would rather not have the tooth retreated with another root canal since the first one seems in tact.
Is it possible to save the tooth by using a crown or building a structure based on the apparently healthy base of the incisor, posiibly also using crowns on the other lower front teeth in order to prevent them from fracturing. There is thinning ot the base of these teeth, the necks are slightly exposed and thinning. Cleaning of plaque just weakened them and made them more vulnerable, in my view.
Permanent crown placed on yesterday.Went to work afterwards, everything was ok with the pain until numbness went away. When I bite I feel my crown & I'm in pain. But the pain feels like its coming from my bottom tooth, crown was placed on top tooth. Not sure if the crown is too tight causing the pain. My crown was also filed down too much by the dentist assistant or chipped from her dropping it on the floor. Now I'm afraid the porcelain is going to continue to chip. Please help, what should I do?
