I had bonding done and its ruined my life. I had a beautiful smile that I loved but let a dentist talk me into bonding my teeth and I hate it. Ive had it redone multiple times and its still awful. It looks fake and theres black lines and gaps between my teeth. What causes these black lines? In person it doesnt look that bad but in photos its horrible. I used to love pictures and now I avoid them at all costs. What can I do?
I got resin composite bonding done on my front two teeth in Dec 2023. I am not happy with my results and would like them removed. I read online this is possible because the tooth enamel is left untouched during the process. Is it possible to have the composite removed? If so, is there any specific aftercare? Will there be a huge difference in your teeth? Can you resume eating/other activities as you did before the getting the composites?
I have had my two front teeth bonded. Im afraid to put a retainer on because I dont want the bonding to come off my teeth. Im also afraid to do a dental impression because of this. Will wearing a retainer daily make the boxing come off the teeth? It seems it would put a lot of stress on the teeth from taking it on and off. Thanks
I started braces in August 2021 and was advised my treatment would be 16 months. I am almost to the 16 month mark (January 2023) and although my alignment is nice and my teeth are much straighter, i do not like the spaces between my teeth and would like to fix them. My Orthodontist stated that the Black triangles are normal but is there anything she can do to close them? She has done several IPR treatments already. Someone recommended Dental Bonding. How much is the cost for that?
I have a wisdom tooth which is positioned in a mesial impaction way. This leaves a small gap which covers the rest of the wisdom tooth meaning I need to brush this area at an angle to clean it properly. I do not have a problem with this but due to food getting stuck during the day I would like to get this gap filled as this is still a hard area to access completely. I would like to find out what options I have that could fill this area, including bonding or any other suggestions on this issue.
Resin composite placed on front two teeth to close a gap. No drilling or filing down was done at all. I also believe acid etching was used. 1) Can this be removed to expose my real teeth again? If so, is it likely they'll be sensitive or much more prone to decay? 2) the back of my front teeth feels like soft sandpaper. No (minimal) composite was placed on the back. Why? From the acid etching? From other materials used? Will this resolve over time? Is this now more susceptible to decay?
